Pakistan's dug up pits
by Sunil Kumar on Mar 27, 2007 10:29 AM  Permalink

I think it is high time some outfits other than the present rulers takes over Pakistan and given the taste of the food they cook for other countries, especially India. Let them feel the pain and torture we have had to suffer at the hands of so called pro-Independence forces, working against India. It is like trying to grow bacteria in ones own body thinking of harming others, ultimately the person growing himself will be a victim. Time for Pakistan to learn science, as it had long dwelt in politics.

I dont understand This obsession Of Indian Media with Pakistan. I regularly scan the online editions of various paki dailies like dawn etc and hardly there is any mention of news linked to India.

Musharraf must read this!
by rolladesi on Mar 27, 2007 09:04 AM  Permalink

The link below is from US Foreign Policy Research Institute. Founded in 1955, FPRI is devoted to bringing the insights of scholarship to bear on the development of policies that advance U.S. national interests. It adds perspective to events by fitting them into the larger historical and cultural context of international politics.

Musharraf's existence is critical for the world !
by Silly on Mar 27, 2007 08:19 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Musharraf must stay in his current position. With the anti- US feelings strong due to afghanistan and Iraq, it is very likely that pakistanis may vote for any religious extremist who talks Anti- US, Anti - India and anything that's acceptable to radical islamists.
Taliban's growing strong hold in Pakistan is causing worry to everone, especially to US.

Musharraf is the only person (atleast it seems so) who stands between these Talibani devils and those Nuclear weapons. If this guy falls to a bullet some day, it is tough to imagine what would be the consequences !

Pakistan's economy is still in jitters, and it just can't improve till they have political stability. With radical islam again raising its ugly head, political peace in Pakistan seems like a mirage.

Silly you presented the truth, which is very hard for most of the population (with closed ears and eyes) to understand.
Once Musharraf goes out the power the nuclear war between India and Pak is not far and not to mention that who ever takes over Pak will actively participate in creating lots of disturbances around the globe.
That is one simpple reason why Musharraf has support from some countries.
It is very hard to digest and accept, but when the nuclear strikes folks would be fried and all of us talking high on the SKY would be burned to ashes. SO let us open our inner vision and see the destruction associated with the Islam fanatics who are standing at the door of Pak to take it over.

but softness is hard to maintain in the world
anybody can take knife at any time, but being
polite is the hard thing to do understand!!!
Once taken knife, they will die because of knife
only unless they change their way!!!
I don't wish any bad to anybody, I want peace,
but if I tell in usual ways, you guys never

Well, through out man's existence, there has never been peace on this planet. Look as far as you want in history and you'll see men fighting.

In a Utopian world, yes, there is no religion, no violence, peace and harmony everywhere. But if you open your eyes to the harsh reality, that is NEVER going to happen. We live in a very volatile, scary world.

I recently read that a mega comet is going to hit the earth in 2039, which might actually finish off everything the way the dinosaurs died. May be.. perhaps after that your utopian world can come into existence. Otherwise, it would be unwise to sit back and dream about peace while someone is standing behind you to harm you.

caliber - brain cell by brain cell, con-job by con-job and guts by guts was our Bharath Rathna Indira Ghandi - Kash she was less selfish and as patriotic as Mush - India would have equalled China today in terms of economic devt and "Poverty" would have been really eradicated

and finally one request - Don't judge a person by words - but by his/her deeds - this for those who are debating about this usage of the words - beggars.

The messgae did not get posted completely due to "unexpected error".
Here is my try again (But first time is always best)
Mush is a great guy, patriotic and has done a lot for his country. If he has conned other democratic countries and played with India (Kargil), it is just because of his patriotism.
I wish we had leaders like him. The only leader in Indian history who can match his caliber - brain cell by brain cell, con-job by con-job and guts by guts was our Bharath Rathna Indira Ghandi - Kash she was less selfish, really secular (treat all religions equal) and as patriotic as Mush - India would have equalled China today in terms of economic devt and Garibi hathao would have been a reality

Wow, absolutely correct. I am amazed I share the same view.
I do not care how much is Mush hated, but he is a true Paki. He is a perfect diplomat and knows his ways around.
If he was a little I mean very little stupid, Us would have entered Pak long ago. But Musharraf is so clever and smart that in his presence US sees what Musharrad shows.
I salute this man for his Brain and cleverness.
I hope we had some dedicated (really for the betterment of country) politicians in India too,
