My dear friend.
I dont think you are looking into the root cause of the problem. SEZ does not have a proper policy and does not consider the Fertile land being acquired which wil affect Indias food production.
The Onslaught & Improper policies of Industrialisation & Urbanisation will result fertile land being used for this purpose. I do agree Gujrat & Rajasthan has RANN OF KUTCH which is not looked into for development and where all the PROJECT SEZ INDIA can be shifted to
After all Business cannot be at the cost of life since you cannot carry your earnings to hell or heaven whichever way you go
tata come to gujarat to do business where business minded people are waiting for you.where only business is religion.why are you westing your time in a state where everything is been decided by naxalists and mullah.
The women in Nandigram are being caught in crossfire and there have been allegations of sexual assault against CPM workers.
On Wednesday, CPI (M) brought dozens of women and children from Nandigram to Kolkata to draw attention to their plight.
Sporadic clashes continued in the Nandigram area of West Bengal on Wednesday with a bomb being hurled at a Trinamool procession and a CPI-M refugee camp set on fire.
A video was taken by a cameraperson hired by the police on March 14 to record the events at Nandigram.
The footage clearly showed that women and children were pushed to the front at Sonachura by the Jami Uched Pratirodh Committee during the battle with the police. Who these men are, is yet to be determined.
In Kolkata, there are tearful women and children, victims of the first wave of violence at Sonachura, driven out of their homes three months ago because their families owe allegiance to the CPI-M.
They have been living in relief camps at Khejuri and are now in Kolkata to draw attention to their plight.
"If they go back, there is going to be violence again. Unless the police are there, who is going to protect them? All the efforts of the government to normalise situation politically is not being permitted," said Brinda Karat, MP, CPI(M).
Among these women who met the Chief Minister are Savita Samanta whose husband was killed, Kanika Mondal whose daughter was raped and hanged to death and Kakoli Giri who was gangraped, all allegedly by members of the Jami Uchched Pratirodh Committee.
"Five people came into the room, they tied my hands and mouth. Then I became unconscious," said Kakoli Giri, rape victim.
"My daughter and I had gone to the fields. She came home to drink water and cook a meal. I came home and found her hanging," said Kanika Mondal, victim's mother.
"The Trinamool men came in a procession to my house, barged in and took my husband away. I haven't seen him since. I hear they cut him to pieces and set his body on fire," said Savita Samant.
Meanwhile, a copy of the police footage has been given to the CBI, which is expected to submit its preliminary report on Nandigram to the court on Thursday. The CBI is likely to seek more time from the court to submit a more detailed report.
Everything is going on very smoothly now in this capitalist system which are mentioning here. It is not Communist's ideology. You are enjoying it with a lot, I know. But you must know, it will be rejected by poor people because they suffer a lot now. Now the politicians are like you and they divide and rule to still remain this system here and enjoy it for a long years.
It's unfortunate that what ever be the issue, it is mixed with relegion. If Government has decided to open an industry or SEZ, if the people are against it, they can protest it; but never ever allow say it is dominated by a particular community. India is a democracy not based on a particular relegion and no relegion has special rights under the Constitution. If the SEZ is going to afftect the people badly government should go back from the proposal. Otherwise if it is going to benefit the community in terms of better jobs and facilities, educate the pepole on it.
Maulana Mahmood Madani must think before starting play with communalism about why did Mr. Advani gave leadership to demolish Babri masjid. He only done it for rejuvenate Hindus. Today, he has no space in Indian politics.
BANGALORE, March 21: The Nandigram incident can have an adverse impact on India%u2019s image as a good place for investment, according to Mr Narayana Murthy, chief mentor of Infosys. He said farm land for setting up special economic zones could not be acquired. Land, he asserted, could not be taken from farmers. Instead, industrialists should directly purchase their requirement. This was the policy earlier under which many industrial houses built their own campuses. This was the best thing to do. He told reporters on the sidelines of a function here that the Nandigram incident was bound to have its fall-out especially in the Internet era where news travelled fast, even leaving scope for misinterpretation. Without clearly stating that FDI could be hit in the country, particularly in West Bengal, he said the incident would indeed have %u201Csome repercussions.%u201D n SNS

first up all nayarana murthy itself depart from aquiring land which belongs to farmers near sarjapur road, bangalore. many times his INFOSYS tried their best to aquire land near sarjapur, but all went in vain due to the MLA's intervention. So instead of projecting himself as the messiah of society, first up all accept the mistake he commited in past. dont try to cheat people with ur so called : humble" image. its really shame. we already have another humble farmer in karnataka's kitty, which is more than enough to bear it.
