The incident of Hotel Woodland and subsequent apology from Mr.Prachand indicate the gloomy atmosphere in Nepal.Are the erring Maoist cadres above land of law? Why Mr.Prachand didn't ask for arrest & legal action against the criminals?

kathmandu once a hot tourist destination- looks like its going the kashmir way now. people have stopped visiting kathmandu and the better alternative for them have become destinations like malaysia and bangkok.
