Nadigram Massacare....an Eye Opener????
by Rabi Saha on Mar 17, 2007 12:09 PM  Permalink

This is true for every political party in INDIA that they don't feel for the people but for their sake only.Political corruption is everywhere in World more or less but this type of destructive oppostion is not desirable. Look at BJP's role in Gujrat and BJP in WB.....and check TC's role in WB and in Orissa...though they r not a national party but our gr8 DIDI didn't say a word on that...only local farmers plight moved her..so funny!!!...and frm the creation of party it was always a party of Urba ppl as BJP is their ally..now suddenly they b'come pro farmers...same for CPI-M but atleast they r pro farmers nobody can deny this...and they r paying a money for the land..In Orissa,Chennai,Gujrat, Maharashtra lands are being taken away with a paltry sum..and most of the lands in WB are fertile so for these lands will Govt just stop the industrialization and just think on Agriculture...if you do factories in barren land also they'll oppose there also...no clear agenda...It's petty politics. Nothing else. Even Mr. Modi told that "Thanks God!!there is no such Mamata in Gujrat"... CPIM has done a blunder and alone can't be rebuked. Repeatedly CM requested for an all party meeting and everytime the opposition declined to go to the the meeting. Can u tell me why???....they want to solve the issue by peace and apart from discussion what are the other ways to a peaceful solve of the issue?...so not only CPI-M but also the Opposition is equally responsible...they are playing holi with the blood of these innocent people.Repeatedlt they r asking for returning of sigur Lands which they also know is not possible and when they sense that hungerStrike of gr8 Didi is going in vain they dig the roads and creates tension again Nandigram...The tension created in Nandigram is not b'cause of these ppl....but b'cause of the power greedy political party and TC is no different frm CPI-M....we blindly follow them and using these poor farmers as trump card these Farmland Save Committee dig the roads...murder the policeman and put fire in the CPI-M supporter's house....now do u think that this is being done by villagers...they r too simple...they just want to save their land...but the leaders like Didi and Siddiqullah make their life miserable...under the veil they r playing with the sentiments, trying to gain political mileage...why these parties took the law in their hand...murdering of ppl is not a solution...to save the land u have to follow a voiceforus protest and this violence is no solution...ppl will bad mouth Govt and to keep thing normal Police will again fire...we Indian ppl have no faith in ourselves...we just follow these corrupt leaders...and they r not at all serious abt the land grabbing but they want the power...I'm sure if Didi comes to power she'll do no better than this and then CPI-M will do the same thing...Insutrial Development is necessary...one can't deny it...
Coming back to fertile lands do anyone think that these CPI-M ministers haven't shown the barren land to the investors and just taking the fertile lands.WB Villages are the strongpoint of CPIM's 30yr reign and they r not fools to take away the lands just b'cause they want it.Nobody wants to loose their lands. Corporate people are also chking lands which will be suitable for their business..e.g. Tata has done Soil testing on singur land...can neone say WHY?....nobody is looking into this...
At last I can say this massacre is a henious crime...and how much the CPI-M try it'll take time to heal....

Hindus under CPM West Bengal
By Animitra Chakraborty
Out of 38 arrested Hindus, 11 were alleged of violence. It is suspected that the political highhandedness of the ruling front has made the police behave insensitively.

All because of Local People
by a sarma on Mar 17, 2007 07:14 AM  Permalink

My apologies if I hurt anybody.....
its all because of local people because of what is happening today....
This domination and gundagardi of the CPM govt didnt come in a day or two...Initially local people supported them and what is happening today is the fruits coming from the seeds sown 30yrs back.

Even till date I see people saying that what is happening is correct....only to support CPM and with no understanding that what they are doing to their own motherland.

The Buses which they burn in every bandh are used by them only....and not by any minister or Buddhadev or Mamata or Sonia ji...

The shops they gutter ...the disturbance they cause in every bandh affects their development only .No minister both central or state is going to be affected.

Let the people of WB understand this first.

Its not official but its a known fact the people brutally murdered today were once strong supporters of the CPM govt.

So they should accept it as a gift from their lords...why REVOLT now when u supported earlier?

Regarding Nandigram
by Amitabha Ray on Mar 16, 2007 11:23 PM  Permalink

Almost all electronic media and newspapers of India are running under some monopoly business organizations; therefore, news has been distorted according to the interest of particular house. Perhaps, rediffmail-news service is also not an exception. For this reason, we see Buddhadeb Bhattacharya%u2019s speech in rediffmail-news, but not of Medha Patkar on the same issue. Furthermore, I cannot understand why some persons link with the communism with CPI(M). Actually, this party has no relation with communism in any time; simply %u2018name%u2019 does not signify anything. So, quoting the Soviet Union or Mao%u2019s China with reference to CPI(M)%u2019s activity is basically irrelevant. All articles on the recent attempt for the so-called industrialization published in CPI(M)%u2019s papers are basically an effort to vandalize the theory and practice of Marxism-Leninism. The state of West Bengal becomes totally paralyzed under 30 years of CPI(M) rule %u2013 philosophically and culturally; all the developmental data and statistics are mixed with how much water %u2013 nobody knows (which is a common practice in India). From the top to bottom of any administrative system are filled-up with CPI(M)%u2019s selected persons. From a peon of a primary school to a vice-chancellor of an university are all CPI(M)%u2019s yes-man. Police department becomes a group of CPI(M)-cadres. Therefore, there is no hindrance to win elections continuously. The most interesting thing is, the leadership of Congress party is helping in this process. In the last assembly election, we noticed how Congress party dismantled its own organization in favour of CPI(M) as well as the Election Commission%u2019s (running under the Central Government) drama in order to give a clean certificate to CPI(M) [because, people were thinking that CPI(M) wins by modulating the election machinery]. Our Prime Minister is busy to keep his own position intact; he has no botheration about what respect he will get afterwards and what will be his party%u2019s condition in future (already, the party is decaying in this state). It is an unfortunate part that the media (definitely with some interest) are always trying to show a person as the opposition leader, who has no appropriate activity or sense [this process actually is helping CPI(M)]. On the other hand, conditions of parties like CPI, RSP and Forward Bloc are far worse than CPI(M). To keep the population of own party-cadres intact, they are forced to tell something against CPI(M); however, their leaders know that they will be beggar if they quit the so-called Left Front. In 30 years, they forget to stand on their own feet.
