why is this classified as Hindu terrorism...every one knows that Naxals are brothers in arms with communists and they denounce religion...if at all any thing all the communist activities should be looked suspiciously going forward, this along with Nandigram pogrom, are what goes on in Communist world.

PS: Sorry to use big words, obviously you are a person with little or no intelligence...I am sure you part of government right? Because, with your stupidity you can't survive any where else.

A big shame on the civil society
by sunilkumar mishra on Mar 15, 2007 09:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Degree of terror unleashed by these criminals in the name of demand for so called justice to the poor and underprivilged has surpassed all kinds of criminality seen in the recent history even more than the Terrorists from across the border in the sense that these so called naxalites or Maoists are mindlessly killing their own innocent brethren just because they r doing their duty. This kind of dastradly act of terror tactics desrves to be abhorred by all and sundry in the strongest possible terms as there is no place for violence in the civil society for achieving justice and ur just demands. No violence has sustained in the history for long it has to fail to make room for rational expression of ur claims and demands. It is only the manifestation of the rapidly declining strenghth and support for movement started years back for justice and equality thru violent means. There is a saying " Kshinajanah Nishkaruna Bhavanti", only the week becomes merciless. What is the way out how to negotiate these problems confronting our society for ages. Decades of utter neglect for balanced development of the society leads even the strongest of the minds into despair and dejection culminating in taking into violent means to achieve justice for u w options of rational and non-violent means donto fetch u anything. We as a nation created only five decades back have failed miserably in solving even the minimum basic needs of the millions on one side while claiming to be nearing towards becoming an econmic superpower in the world. Result the hiatus between the have and havenots goes on increasing . we as a nation need to feel really ashamed and guilty of criminla neglect we have caused to the real India behind a cosmetic face we show to the world. I am leaving it here for the reason that i convey my heartfelt condolences to the inncocent policemen losing the battle for want of ammunition? sukalp hyd

NAXAL
by Vikash Pandey on Mar 15, 2007 09:30 PM  Permalink

All started from a small village of West Bengal named Naxalbari. The movement thus started from their against evil of jamindarism came to be known as Naxal.
But i don't know wheter there is any evedence when it converted itself to brutallity.
Wheter Known as MCC in jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh,MAHARASHTRA and NEPAL. PWC in ANDHRA Pradesh, Tamil NAidu.
Now it seems basically politicaly moivated as can be traced from history.
Its main nourisher are Illiteracy, poverty which are the main back drop of any developing nation.
Now the scenario is that can't be removed but can be degraded to its minimum .
I don't fill that a peacefull talk is the remedy of it.
well, diplomatic way is needed but to crush the veomus snake.
Chanakya has discribed in his working on enemy that "he should not only be destroyed but should be buried ot his last extent".

Nothing can justify this dastardly act...
by desikan r on Mar 15, 2007 09:29 PM  Permalink

Some ridiculous justifications have been given to support the killings by some readers. Police is merely a tool to enforce govt policies. Killing them offers no solution. If people think that the killers of these policemen are going to protect their rights and lands they are sadly mistaken. Its the same as the state governance being handed over to the military. It would appear as a salvation for some time till the gun turns towards the same people who had supported it.
This dastardly act of killing of policemen can have no justification. Whatever sympathy the cause for the angst may have had has been wiped out today. The Maoists have just proved that they deserve no better treatment than terrorists. A swift and stern action from the state and Centre is needed to send a strong message to the perpetrators and assure the general public of upholding Law and Order in the state.

What do the humanrights activists say now?
by Truth Seeker on Mar 15, 2007 09:28 PM  Permalink

Are humanrights activists happy now? They come out against governments and police officers whenever naxalites are caught and put in jail. When it comes to naxalite atrocities, they are too afraid to say even a word.
