A probe by an independent agency seems very necessary in this case as he onduct of the West Bengal chief minister in sending a strong force of 5000 policemen smacks of some nefarious plan as no govoernemtn however foolish it might be , would send policemen tolay roads and no people of any village would object to laying roads to their village .the fact that the goernemtn anticipated toruble would be sufficient to proe that they themselves were up todoing something that the people would resist .What other proof would any sensible man tpo understand the character of this government ? It is now to be probed how much the chief Minister stands to Gain by killing the innocnet people who ae opposing this plan.the CM does not een seem to have regrets for the death of the villagers .he is said to be a chief Minister of a democratic state .Probably , he thinks that he is the dictator of a communist state .
The "Innocent" villagers of Nandigram, The "Oppressed" villagers of Nandigram for the last 2 1/2 months have murdered brutally, raped and made the non-protesters flee from their home. The real reason for the resistance was not because of land but they knew that the police will start criminal charges on a lot of them for all the atrocities they had committed when the police or administration where beaten back and not allowed in the area. this was always there to happen. You don't expect any ruling government anywhere to allow this kind of lawlessness. This action would have been always there. If this was wrong then the Indian army should be put up for Human Rights Violation in Kashmir for the last 60 years crime.
Question is of government administration and people who defy with violence will be dealt with violently, as simple as that.
Is Nandigram a seperate nation ????...whr police cannot patrol !!!!.... For kind information to all ..the police were not able to enter Nandigram from last 30 days... Whatz dis ?? U cannot hv ur own Independent nation status dere ...!!! I am sure the marginal farmers in India meet the same fate... malnourishment...disease ... under heavy debt and finally suicide.... look at Maharastra , Andhra . The industrial development is the only panacea to all ills. MAMATA and some irresposible rascals are pushing Bengal to become another Bihar...with no employment oppurtunity and plenty of cheap .. exploitable labour for other states , if not already there. I completely support buddhadeb in his efforts. I hope the industrialization of west-bengal does happen and is not scuttled by these developments. Having said that, I must add commies are now getting taste of their wrong doings. They have categorically decimated the police force by recruiting party-cadres into positions. These cadre/police knew more about party rather than their own job. Result is for everyone to see. Rogue elements in nandigram should have been put behind bars by now. Alas, police has to fight a pitched-battle there.
