As long as there is more than one human being in a scenario, there will always be difference of opinion - whether it is a family, company or society.
Here there is a difference of opinion on whether land can be acquired for industry. There are 1.2 billion indians and there is critical mass on either side of the debate. But the law, as it stands today, allows the democratically elected govt., to make the acquisition decision.
Until now, no one protested. Every lawyer knew that this law was in the books. Every "activist" is familiar with it. But, as soon as something happens, the LAw is thrown to the winds and "Hum emotional Ho gaye hain".
So my question: Why even have a law? You are going to debate every action from step 0 anyways. Its like a constituent assembly for each and every topic. Wonder why Ambedkar even bothered to write the constition.
Having a law is meaningless unless people follow it. Sometimes it will go in your favor (i support SEZ) and other times, it will make you want to hurt someone (i could have killed manmohan when i heard he was ordering a census of my beloved indian army on muslim-non-muslim basis). But both are legal decisions taken by democratic govts.
When I can put up with the second, why can't you all put up with the first? Or is the law only for other people?
Yes, there is a solution to every problem. Here in WB I feel that it is the adamant attitude and ego politics of WB Chief Minister created all this problem in his state. He should sit together with opposition and the parties involved instead of imposing brutal force on innocent villagers and kisans and discuss all in wholeheartedly. Development is okay, but for industries development you should not write off agricultural development. There should be lakshmn rekha in between. Don't use agricultural and forest lands for industrial purpose as in India and even WB there are enough place whee waste land and dry lands are largely availabe. Use it for industrial purpose. There should be a model code of conduct for the entire country to acquire land for industrial development. Industries should be pollution free. Kisans and Industrial establishements come togehter and industrial houses has to ensure that they are not taking the bread and butter of kisans as without the development of agricultural products nobody can live. We are getting bread and butter from agricultural and not from chemical products and vehicles or electronic items. All are telling that we need foreign investments for developing this country. But actually who wants foreign investements in India? We have enough resources here in India and from our country, large unaccounted money are going out of country and are kept in undisclosed accounts in BANKS like SWISS banks etc. We have to re-structure the entire tax system prevailing in India in a scientific manner so that maximum tax we can get from the deserved individuals, establishemnts, joint ventures and industries. Be practial and instead of going for big industries, go to strengthen co-operative based industries wherein marketing of the products controlled by State / Central Govt. Enough we can do if intellectuals / politicians and administrators are interested to solve the problems country facing and we can make this country more and more super strong country on all aspects. But narrow minded/egoistic politics to be detroyed from the minds of Indian Politicians first.

When in last 20 yrs, the left front govt was fighting for agricultural development & shunting industrialization, all blamed the "communists" for their narrow minded-ness & the primary cause for slow paced / ill development of IT, Industry & other prospective sectors in Bengal. Now that we have a CM who wants to do some better things for the state, the same people ( or morons ???) say that he is a dalal of Industrialists & is against poor men / farmers. Where were all these Mamata Banergee's & Subroto Mukherjee's & Priyaranjan Dasmunshi's for the past 30 years to think about Farmers ???? Were they sleeping ??? Its not about Tata or Salem or anybody else .... its about economical growth of a state. If the Motor Plant happens in Singur, that will increase the average income base for people .... Singur will mature to a city from a mere village ( Have these morons ever heard of Jamshedpur & Pune ???). There is no hard & Fast rule that a farmer's son has to be a farmer. Are we moving forward or we are planning to enter pre-historic days. Some bloody oposition parties are just doing this to get cheap publicity & calling Bandh's every now & then to ensure that Bengal never grows .... They never really cared for any farmers till date, & now they dont care about a state's development, the CBSE & ISC & the Board exams, they dont care about common man & their hapless problems caused due to their Bandhs & gheraos. This happens when a state has destructive, degradatory, & insensible opposition party. If today all these things are happenning in Singur / Nandigram, its because of their mis guidance to the innocent people & their utmost effort to ensure no prosperity for industrialization in Bengal. All these morons forget that in Singur, the govt has paid the highest ever compensation in India, much higher than the mandates. Transforming for overall agriculture to a balanced industrialization is the normal course of civilization, but since we have most of the uncivilized & uncultured idiots in the opposition party, only god now can save Bengal. Its a curse that Bnegal has such political parties & political idiots amidst an otherwise strong sensible & cultural stalwarts.

There is more number of SEZ initiated in Gujarat, no problem happend. Then Why the problem with Nandigram? To understand this we need to understand the communist theory. In their book only one party can exist and people should be slave to THE PARTY.(China, ex-USSR, North Korea). India it is not possible so they created Party Villages. It is there in Kannur of Kerala and Most of the district West Bengal. No other party workers allowed in this area. Who ever rules, the actual ruler will be the Local Commitee Sectratary of party in Party Villages. Actual Gunda Leader. Nandigram is one area where THE PARTY caders are lost to TC in number of workers. So they want to remove all the framers( TC workers) from their. The compensation will be distributed by the LC Secratry of THE PARTY. So TC workers never going to get actual compnsation. There are lot of Party Villages in WB. Why can't, THE PARTY, ask to hand over the land from Party Villages to Govt for setting up the SEZ. Also in THE PARTY there is no concept of private land ownership. So all party caders should surrender there land to THE PARTY and then THE PARTY can construct industry or farmland as their wish in this property. Not on the head of poor or rich farmers they are not party workers. (Their fate as they are not PARTY caders.)
'THE PARTY' is like underworld. Who ever opposing will be get silenced or killed by the lower end workers in their strong hold under the instruction of LC/DC/SC.(Not by PB, they are the polished intelligent wing of THE PARTY - marketing dept. - You can see them regular in all english channels by educating India. WB is not part of India in that time) Once you are in you cannot get out of THE PARTY with life until you start your own underworld group...

Mamta is using the farmers plight to get max political mileage. Offcourse its woken up the nation to farmers plight even though that wud not have been her real intention. Adding that is the otherwise smart Buddha's stupid action to foricibly take away the land!! This will certainly put WB and also India a step or two back on development front! Also the same kind of things will happen in other parts of India..the opposition(wat ever the party) will do such antics to stick one up to the govt!! The sad part is nobody is thinking of solving this problem. Instead everybody is fighting without any purpose. The only way I think this can be solved is by making farmers/land owners partners in the sez or any other development involving their land. This is the cheapest political gimmicks that anybody could play. It is high time that mamta puts an end to all this drama.
