As of now TMC has 1 MP and 30(-1 ,,, forgot Sadhan Pande ?) MLAs ... in the 294 seat assembly ... that should speak who are being chased away by people ... apart from 12 people being killed, there are 11 police men who are injured seriously by bombs and pipe dun shots ... are they innocent people who torch CPM supporters' homes , kills policemen and then when poilce goes to restore peace fires upon them from behind the children and ladies ... police has done the right thing by firing at miscreants and trying to restore law and order in the area ... Soon ur leader Ms Mamta Banerjee will face the ire of the general people ... don't worry ... people are for industrialisation in a big way ... so no hurdle will be any hurdle now ... come what may, industrialised BEngal is our dream ... we will make it.

Shamik, when CPM can kill 15 ppl for snatching the land for these ppl on behalf of Salim group, just imagine what not they do to get vote for themselves, they can kill 15000 ppl ... and say they did right, coz these ppl r not voting cpm ..

Mr Chattopadhayaya did you know the old bengali proerb - Nachte na Janle Uthon Baka. (I lost the race because the ground was not fit for running). Cry like kids, and kids will be ashamed.
Try to bring up a strong and disciplined party first that will be present in the grassroots and all the segments, then do something positive, and then think about vote.
Dont you feel ashamed with bagging only 30 seats after a much hyped Election COmmision's free and fair election and with tons of paramilitary forces?
You cannot bargain so much with only 30 seats.
Go to people and get vote first, then someone will hear you.

Dear Mr Bhaskar We can't expect anything more from a half-educated people like you. Thanks to Mr Ghosh for replying me on my behalf. TMC will land to 5 seats in the next Assmebly Election. Mamata will also loose her MP seat. Days.... r not far.

dear mr amit r u a blind cpm cadre?? thats why you are supporting the merciless killing of villagers who are opposing forceful land acquisition by WB govt.! The CM can handle this tense situation very carefully. But unfortunately he is so adamant that he can not wait till the end of HS exam. He is acting like HITLAR! not a CM of all person but a Cadre only.

West Bangal has been the centre for communist and naxals. They have spread the fire of violance all over india/nepal. Now its hapenning at home. Nation should stand united and condemn this.

what else can he do ? let mS Care ( Mamata ) take care of the miscreants ?
I work in a MNC. I know about the Greed of this money making MNCs. But It is a Necessary evil. I always appreciated the Communist Principles as well. There should be a Balance between these two at any time.
But what Buddha has done to his people is Shameful.
Now Can anyone tell me why not entering journalist on Nandi gram Area?
Why given only one Press(i.e directed by CPIM Govt) to cover the area by Police.
Now they are telling that their is bomb and pipe guns find from fermers?
Their is anti social from outside?
Every one knows there is what and whom are doing what??
why Mr. Bhat and his party are doing double stand in West Bengal as well as Bihar,Gudgrat(where they are with fermers and in west begal they are taking land from fermers and giving it to Money makers)
Why they are borkering this??
To getting more fund? or seriously wants to develop??
If seriously then why they dont did anything in 30 Years???
If fermers are demolished in this way then who will giving our foods?

I have only one question. Today when so many innocent lives were taken, we all are shouting and its perfectly justified. But, is there anyone here who raised a single voice when few days back a policeman was brutally murdered in the same area by a gang of mobbed villagers? We never cry when a police dies but we always give our opinion when a common man dies ( I guess police are not common men and they don't have any family). With deep regret for what happened today, I solemnly request everyone to be uniform in their feelings and show our concern even when a security person dies.
To add to this, this incident was further triggered by the presence of naxalites who actually instigated the villagers to attack the police. The situation seems out of control of even Mamata Banerjee

Wait till the election, and again the opposition supporters will get a thrash on their head, and cry like kids - it is political rigging, scientific rigging, and go on digging and digging, you will gain nothing.
Throwing out a strong adversary like the Communist Party you need to build up a strong and disciplined party first, who will be presents in all the roots and segments of the State. First do this, then shout.

I feel proud for the Police force in West Bengal. They beat the women who came to rescue a man fell by the Bullet (Ref: Clip from NDTV). I cannot forget this brave policemen who beat the women.
They are "man" enough to beat the poor and weak. They cannot touch anybody who is rich and influential.
This country is very proud of so many other things like poverty, unequal education, etc etc. Let them add this feather to their hat.

very well said. Really I wonder when we will wake up to not only protest these things, but there will be a severe punishment for this kind of obnoxious activities. There need to be a country wide protest against these things, otherwise all these intolerable activities will continue and one day we all have to suffer for this. Nobody is there to think for the poor people. Doesn't matter how many of them are dying everyday like insects. Government has crores to invest in projects, but we don't have a little money/time for these poor people. Always there are big sharks to eat their food. Only these ministers can do big big talks to foolish everyone. Realy how true it has been said "Mera BHARAT Mahan, 100 mein se 99 Beiman". Wake up guys.....please wake up...

It is the same every where, whether in Gurgaon for Honda company or bengal for salim company, all the police are the servants of politicians who will do any thing for money and power, time for eliminating the corrupt
It is nothing but to killing of democracy. Its the time the people of west bengal should understand the real situation. Throw the communist out from our state...
I do not understand "armed attack by villagers" and "self defence"? I think your reporter was not present at NG. Is this a statement of WB govt? There were roughly 5000 armed police men and CPM party cadres those who were directly involved in this killing of villsgers. Behind this massacre the worthless, adament CM.
