LEFT IS NOT RIGHT.
by abhijeet kenkare on Mar 15, 2007 12:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

In the last 25 yrs the only big state in the country that is deprived of industrialization and its fruits is Bengal. The Politicians create a ruckus on the Ganguly issue in the parliament saying it to be related to Bengal Pride. And then the government kill the very same bengalis by firing bullets at them on children and women too. And the communist cadres create havoc in the presence of the police. Media is not allowed to go to Nandigram where these cadres reach. Communism is uprooted from the whole world and the left-overs are here. What a nuisance. The prices of all the commodities have sky-rocketed in this governments tenure. And THIS GOVT SHALL NOT SURVIVE FOR EVEN A DAY WITHOUT THE LEFT SUPPORT. So stop being hypocrites.

Is Nandigram a seperate nation ????...whr police cannot patrol !!!!.... For kind information to all ..the police were not able to enter Nandigram from last 30 days... Whatz dis ?? U cannot hv ur own Independent nation status dere ...!!! I am sure the marginal farmers in India meet the same fate... malnourishment...disease ... under heavy debt and finally suicide.... look at Maharastra , Andhra . The industrial development is the only panacea to all ills. MAMATA and some irresposible rascals are pushing Bengal to become another Bihar...with no employment oppurtunity and plenty of cheap .. exploitable labour for other states , if not already there. I feel sad for West Bengal... such a self destruction is seldom seen.

Yes, even Prime Minister was so frightened from CPIM, he didn't have guts to take call from Advani.

Yes, even Prime Minister was frightened from CPIM, he didn't have guts to take call from Advani.

MM Singh then discussed what he needs to do with Pranab, Yechuri - and talked to Advani.

This PM is spine-less.

1.CBI IS A CENTRAL GOVT AGENCY.
2.CENTRAL GOVT SURVIVES ON LEFT SUPPORT.
3.THE RESULT OF THE ENQUIRY WILL BE LOGICAL.
4.DO YOU REMEMBER THE LAST CASE SOLVED BY THE CBI WHERE THE ACCUSED HAVE BEEN PUNISHED.
5.SO DONT EXPECT MIRACLES.
6.THIS IS A DIVERSIONARY TACTIC THAT DERIVES ONLY FAVORABLE RESULTS TO THE POLITICAL MASTERS.
7.SO IT IS ACTUALLY A HEART-BREAKING NEWS.

TMC alongwith other opposition is responsible.
by apurba santra on Mar 15, 2007 11:55 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The opposition mainly TMC, SUCI and Nxalites are responsible for the situation. Mind it that this battle is no longer for acquision of land. this is political. CM had announces very next day that no land will be acquired without consent of people. still during the last two months they have isolated Nandigram from rest of WB by cutting roads. They have drove out more than 1000 CPIM workers out of their home. They have right to return to their homes. They did not allow police to enter the area. Maintaining peace is responsibility of not only CM but all of us. The DM had called several all party meetings but except CONG. no other party turned up. The have not let the administration to repair roads despite several request. In the last two months several oppoition leader alongwith some intectuals(??) have visited the area. But none have taken any initiative to bring nornmalcy. They have encouraged the people to continue the bolckage. By this time several people and one police officer has been kinnled by them. So it became the sole responsibity of administration to bring back normalcy. How long police should wait? The police entered the area not suddenly. The day and time were announced earlier. So the opposition got time to prepare. They have not entered to arrest any one. Still the people swayed by TMC propaganda resisted putting the women in front, and attacked the police with bombs. The instruction to them was given from Kolkata over mobile. Police have not fired at once but they followed the sequence.

For what is this? Not for land, but to gain some advantage in coming Panchayat election. The opposition is reduce to to a minimum in assembly (Total 63 out of 294). They are detached from people. Any move of government they oppose. They have opposed the land reform. They opposed Hladia Ptrochem and Bakreswar thermal Power Station. They know that if industry comes to WB they have to wind up thier party.

IN THE LAST 25 YRS YOU HAVE JUST 4-5 PROJECTS/ACHIEVEMENTS TO NAME. WHAT A SHAME? 30 YRS AGO CALCUTTA WAS A BETTER PLACE THAN BOMBAY. TODAY IT IS WORST THAN ZUMRITALAIYYA. THANKS COMMUNISTS. AND THEIR CADRES LIKE YOU.

GROW UP. TRY TO LOOK AT THE WORLD AROUND YOU. AND HAVE THE GUTS TO QUESTION YOUR GOVTS.

DO YOU KNOW THAT BENGALIS ARE AMOUNGST THE MOST INTELLIGENT PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY? THEN HAVE YOU EVER PONDERED ON THE FACT THAT WHY THEY MIGRATED TO DIFFERENT CITIES IN HORDES?

HOW MANY PEOPLE MIGRATED FROM MUMBAI TO KOLKOTTA IN THE SAME PERIOD?

SO STOP THIS BLAME GAME, GROW UP APURBA, AND TRY TO RISE FROM THE SUB-STANDARD LIFE THESE COMMUNISTS HAVE SUBJECTED YOU WITH.
JAI BENGAL. JAI HIND.

Dear abhijeet,
Please think of your state first. Why more than 1000 farmers have killed themshelves in Bidarv? The puchasing power of farmaers in WB have increased many times during the last 30 years, despite of huge population. Now they want industry.

i think mamta atlast found her brahmastra by instigating ppl to do violent protests. if election is kept at this point of time or even with in 2 years, CPI-M cannot come back to power for the next 25 yrs. but wats the use, they have already took the lives of common man by using them as "human shields". only GOD can save this country.

Nandigram: Jaliwanwalabag of independent India
by on Mar 15, 2007 11:48 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Even if the villagers would have tried to escape, they had no way out. It is understandable the level of fear of losing everything provoked villagers to defend themselves

But

%u2022 Why police had to shoot women and children?

%u2022 Why CPIM cadres were also in the battlefield?

%u2022 Why media was stopped to cover the incident?

%u2022 Why such a hush business if things were ethical? (People only hide sin)

%u2022 Why industrialization in WB only needs bloodshed?

I feel ashamed to call myself Bengalee. First let%u2019s be little more humane
