Bengal Bandh
by shamim khan on Mar 14, 2007 07:05 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why Friday. Why not immediately. We are tired to see that the Bandhs are called eaither on Friday or on Monday to give 3 days contineous holidays for a section of people. However, people like us associated with shipping face big problem. There should be provision for claiming loss incurred for banh called by polotical party to score their own reasons.

Strike Call
by halwai sanjay on Mar 14, 2007 07:01 PM  Permalink

Frequent strike by TMC in west Bengal became the regular practice now. Any strike called by political parties is affecting common people only. What they gain by calling strike? It is high time that we all should, irrespective of supporting parties, foil this strike call and send strong message to Mamta & Co that no one will support this illegal strike in future.
Moreover, what is the contribution of Mamta towards West Bengal? She should understand that Govt of west Bengal has been elected in large majority by its voters. It means, Govt has every right to take decision in the interest of its state. If she really want to contribute for the State, let get elected first by WB people to rule the state. Such strike will ultimately finish her political career.
Mamta has lost popularity what she earned 10-15 years back due to her conduct. Sometimes she joins hands with BJP and other day she come close to congress. This is for all coming into power by using all sort of dirty things.
Dear Mamta, people at large, understand your game. It is better now to play a constructive role as a opposition for the welfare of the State otherwise you will score DUCK in next election. That is for sure !!!!!

Irresponsible Mamata
by shahanshah mirza on Mar 14, 2007 06:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

She has proved again that she is highly irresponsible. She should be arrested immediately for causing unrest in our lives. She has no right whatsoever to play with the career of several lakh students who are appearing for their exam on friday. Would she have called a bandh on the day her child was to appear for a exam ? It is high time Mamata should realise that these antics are alienating her from the common masses. The common man in West Bengal is tired of her cheap politics. I as a humble citizen can only pray that common sense should dawn on her and help Bengal come up economically.

She is highly responsible but tell me the way as to how to oppose the CPIM Cadre (Gundas), CPIM pet dog (W.B Police) and the whole machinery working against the interest of thousands of thousands people living in the village area. Yes, I agree that lakh of students will suffer who are appearing for their exam on coming Friday, but what about the thousands family who are suffering since the last 60 days and if they do not raise their hand they shall be suffering till death. In fact Mamta is not responsible for the students who are appearing for exam it is Buddha's party.

You "Mr Sealandlogistics"dont seem to have common sense or have lost it. It dosenot depend on wheather you are in power or opposition if you are a political party you are responsible for every one, including all students.further nandigram is a multiaspect issue, I it cannot be directly said who is responsible and who is not.We are fedup with cheap politics of mamata baneerjee.it seems she is doing all this to create anarchy in state.

here we are not going into the behaviour of a party. bandh by any party is opposed. we didnot need a bandh to make people aware of jessica lal case or pryadarshini matoo case. people knew, resented and the justice is being done. In case of nandigram or singur or narmada in gujrat, there seems to be a split faction with my belief a over whelming majority standing for accusition as it will lead to greater good i.e % of people positively affected will be 10 times more than those negetively affected. the way you are talking is streamlined.one has to think in more broder sense, industralization, more job aspect, larger middle class etc. countries like china, usa, europe all has gone through this phase and stand shinning today. it is from them we should learn. by the way you talk as if you are still inside your m/// womb.

it is seen many anti social and fanatics have popped up there head there.even if police fired who istigated them.so stay away from making comments like "life is greater then exam" and all, they may be present emotional hearings. but present the orthodox and stream lined view of a person.

First of all the West bengal Govt. formed by the CPM Led left partie's coaliation is having a massive majority. If Central is dismissing that Government then the same coalation will come to power again with further more majority. Then what for?.

Secondly The central Govt. is supported by Left parties and by thinking about sacking the West Bengal govt. the Central Govt. also automatically will fall.

Thirdly the Mamatha Banerjee is a highly irresponsible lady. When T.N, A.P, and Maharashtra are waiting with garland's to get the TATA Car project, with great difficulty Mr. Buddadev convinced Mr. Rattan Tata and offered the help to set up the plant and got the approval by that way, to take forward his state. However Mamatha is trying to stop the plan of putting up the plant and by that way she is irritating all industrialists who may not even think to put up any plant in W.Bengal in future. The people of West bengal will suffer and she uses the people as a shield but they are not understanding, by this type of political play they are become scapegots only.

Pray to almighty -give wisdom to that "great Lady & Party" and save W.B.

-Unnikrishnan/Chennai
