I see some people totally brainwashed by politicians and just talk about regional language, regional politics. Few people are dreaming of separation, let me tell you a small country like sri lanka cannot allow disintegration, how can india allow this, offcourse we can have another kashmir in south. Then industralisation, prosperity goes to haywire. Good piece of advice to these sepratists, stop day dreaming and focus, love and build your country i.e. India. Try to mix with people from other state and try to know love them.

I totally agree with you i have been observing this oflate that rediff is propogating communal hatred with these blogs..there's always one or 2 guys through out the blog replying and posting abusive remarks ..trying to provoke others..its high time rediff stopped it or we may have to report it ..to shutdown!!!!!..

to assume all tamilians are racist is racist itself. tamilians have been a large part of the economic success in India. Insulting the Tamilians and treating them as dirt is one way to make them want separation. If you treat them as equal and understand that in every society, there is lunatic fringe, then you would accept everyone. This lunatic fringe is not representative of the society because it is a fringe.
Take Shiv Sena for example. I wholeheartedly support them and want them to rule MH but the whole idea that Mumbai is for Marathis only is stupid. What makes Mumbai so special is all the different and diversity found in Mumbai. Sure, most of them cannot speak in Marathi and that even irritates me sometime but I wouldn't change Mumbai for the world.
Only a Pakistani will insult a fellow Indians as a whole. I want you to just think about what I say above. Thanks

Mr. , You don't need to talk about water issue, we indians will deal with it ourself. You, who can say Jai Pak.... read this. Very soon Pak will start saying that Sri Lanka should be broken into 2 nations - Muslim and Non-muslim. Then they will say - All Non muslims should convert, or they will be killed as it is Khuda's wish. Decide what you want.

Simhala dont make politics here with karnataka & pakistan. dont even come to our website to chat. Eventhough we fire ourselves also we will be unite when the situation arises... because we have freedom of expression we will talk anything... dont think you can take advantage of it... better getout of our room..
The fact that pipsqueek of a country like SL can fire on our people, kill them and there is no punishment for it shows how weak India is. They have been killing fishermen for long time, detaining their boats, I have even read news articles about them stealing the catch from the fishermen. We respond to it by helping them fight the LTTE (i.e. patrol the straits). This doesn't make sense. Our weakness against a non-entity like SL sets an example to the world that India can be taken advantage of and we will do nothing. Two bombs in Colombo destroying some infrastructure is a better option. How long can we let countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, China loving Nepal, Sri Lanka, etc take advantage of our peacefulness.
Its a pity that India is going to to SL's dirty work and only because SL killed innocent fishermen to get what they want. Its like, we are rewarding them for killing our people. We need to give SL a fitting lesson not by patrolling the waters in between, but by either forcing a good solution on the island or creating a separate state for the tamilians and it will be a buffer to India.
I am from UP and currently studying in US and have met lots of SL tamils and none of them have any dislike for India. Its a pity that these people are not part of India and they should be. Its time, we stopped the killing in SL. What kind of regional/super power are we, if we can't stop the killing in our own back yard.

So what you are saying is that if any small country kills our people, we should let it go. Remember they are not killing for the first time, this has been going for a long time. Its just highlighted all of a sudden (i presume because of DMK).
No one has the right to kill any human and if they kill an Indian, then India needs to show a fitting reply. If that is to go and fight with "little tiny Sri Lanka", so be it.
