Truth will prevail someday. Kashmiris SHOULD have their land, but what will become of the Kashmiri pundits who were driven out of Kashmir by the soldiers of the religion of peace? How can they be rehabilitated in their homeland? How can their safety be assured if another muslim-majority country is carved out? We all know how the Hindu population in Bangladesh and Pakistan dwindled over time. Its India's responsibility to make sure that secularism is not stamped out of Kashmir.

Kashmiri pundits have not thrown away from one part of jk to another part by Freedom fighters but by the Then governor Mr. Jagmohan. It is not daki chupi baat it is known to the whole India especially by Pundits. They are in there native land and we are brothers to each other.

Wellwisher, Yr Knowledge about religions is not good at all. Do u know that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. And mind u, nobody just changes their religion, if they are not convinced. Islam explains everything in the scientific way, if u don't know then do a study on comparitive religions. Dr Zakir Naik, is a very learned person and is a student of comparitive religion, and has in depth knowledge of Gita,Bible and the Quran. Also for yr information, in the book titled "The Most influential persons in the History", Our prophet has been placed at No. 1 position and the book is written by a christian. Just because of some black sheeps and self centered people, do not use abusive language which promote hatred, be rational and work towards making INDIA a global power. Hope u get the message

If the Christian who ranked the prophet as the most influential person in the world was so impressed, why did he not convert? Why should you go to a kafir to ascertain the so-called greatness of your religion. Dr. Zakir Naik is a showman and is not even a scholar, he has been debunked by Ali Sina of faithfreedom.org. While I agree hatred should not be spread against muslims...but Islam as a religion is certainly not above criticism.

Hi Manzoor, I am keen to have a an open discussion with a guy who can refrence every sentence of what he says because it is no use ranting self judged theories.From my side I promise to reference every sentence I write.By referencing I mean providing a relaible source. If you are the man please come forward. It is 5.30 pm in my part of the world now, I would therefore really like to have a quick one. For starters, can we discuss ' Islam teaches the distruction of non Muslims while as Hinduism says that all ways lead to the same God" ? I think the only solution to the dissatisfied people of Kashmir is to migrate to the country which they feel is a much happier place. What right do they have to demand the land of our country?
I think Mr. Mirwaiz is in a hurry as our dear friend said below to eat the pie. They do not know that like any other state, Kashmir is also part of our country. If Kashmir seeks indepedence on the basis of religion and cultural identity, then we have more than 24 states that have a distinct identity. Imagine every state behaving the same way, what will we be left with. To put in short, Kashmir is the head of the personality called India and no one can imagine a person staying alive after losing his head. The so called freedom struggle is nothing but an infection or infestation of lice from a foreign body called Pakistan and we know how to kill the infection. It is better to come to reality and enjoy the special status you kashmiris have got from us all over the country.
The only solution I feel to the so called dissatisfied people in Kashmir is to migrate to the country or place where they will be more happy. There is a saying "the neighbour's lawn is always greener." The people of kashmir have been blinded by the so called pro-independence country. I think it is time to wake up from the slumber.
I think the Mirwaiz (which is a title similar to mulla) should shift his home to the Northern Areas to look after the welfare of Kashmiri muslims who are suffering human rights abuse by the Pakistani govt. agencies.
He should be pleading with Musharraf to let his people go - like Hazrat Musa pleaded with the Egyptian Pharaoh over 3000 years ago!
