Do not trust the enemy's friend
by Vijay Anand on Mar 09, 2007 04:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Even though Bangladesh was liberated from Pakistan' clutches by our Indian forces, the Bangladesh Military continue to enjoy their being on Pak's (ISI)payroll.
Who can forget the brutal massacre of our BSF jawans at the hands of the Bangladesh Rifles. And our establishment remained mute spectators, citing that we follow the WAIT & WATCH POLICY. Our Govt. needs to wake up and show to these bully guys that we are not Sitting ducks.
Trusting Bangladesh would be a grave mistake as the ISI has made good use in that soil to bolster anti-India operations.

Actions speak louder than words
by shibu james on Mar 09, 2007 04:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

1971 - India liberated Bangladesh from the clutches of the evil West Pakistan junta. Whatever may be our reasons for doing it, we definitely respected Bangladesh & allowed it to form a independent country. As with most liberators (US) we could have stayed back & either ruled via proxy or usurped the country. We did not do it. WHAT DID WE GET IN RETURN.

Bangladesh if keen to mend fences with India will have to walk more than half the distance.
Show through actions that it means well for India. Give India enough reasons to cherish a relationship.

Realtionship with Bangladesh
by soumik kalita on Mar 09, 2007 04:07 PM  Permalink

Assam has been the worst hit by the influx of illegal migrants from Bangladesh where ther has been a demographic change quite evident, it will be in the interest of Bangladesh to at least acknowledge this fact. Bangladesh has been a breeding ground for terrorists who are bleeding our nation ,it has to stop all subversive activities in its soil to even think of a good realtion. Its a shame that India has been a mute spectator to all these activities of Bangladesh , its high time that Indian politicians understand the situation in the north east of India and take decisions on realtionship with Bangladesh accordingly. Its a shame that the country for whose freedom we lost our brave soldiers is paying us back with systematic intrusions and terrorism from its soil. We should take all talks of peace and development with countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh with a pinch of salt.

bangladesh n India
by NAFASAT KHAN on Mar 09, 2007 04:05 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

More serious than influx of Bangladeshis in India,is the process of "Talibanisation"of Bangladesh. It has been amply manifested by treatment extended to Hindu minorities post demolition of disputed structure at Ayodhya.Bangladesh should first severe all formal/informal links with ISI,Al-queda etc. training camps for ULFA should be dismantled immediately.

Really looking forward to see the movie.after a very long time, after lakshya a movie of such caliber we might witness.
may not have big star casts but i like it that way.it maintains the movie theme and not the star's style.
kudos for the movie and the director.
