...just as much a case of desertion(by the Husband).
This could also be a case involving threats, blackmail, and extortion by the woman.
Without going into the details of this case, please do not become the judge, the jury and the executioner, as some of you here are displaying to be.
Venting ones inadequacies and frustrations by being judgemental and arbitrary without researching on the background of the case doesn't reflect well on YOUR character.
There are many desertions by NRI's as well as there are many extortions made againist them as well.
An august body like the Supreme Court itself is worried by these extortion rackets and has used the term "Legal Terror".
US and Canadian consulates issue frequent advisory to their expats(especially of Indian origin) to be very careful and vary of Indian brides. Get all the pre-nups and agreements done before getting married.
So, based on the details , looks like a crappy affair and both sides played dirty.
This guy was married to a miss Ashu Bakshi (second marriage as known legally so far) on August 23, 2000 and was legally divorced from her on March 12, 2001 So if he was married to miss Vinita was it after the legal divorce if not he could be jailed for poligamy as per USA laws.
Seems like he thinks he is a Doctor so he can F*** anyone because he has some money
