Over the years after the division has happened with India, Pakistan is trying to attacking India when ever possible
That is known fact. Politicians are playing power game and dragging the Peace process. All know that the Muslim terrorist organizations are hitting every corner of the world. I suggest Indian government and Pakistan Governments must forget their past going forward they should cooperative each other to end this decade battle. We are spending Corers of Rupees for the military if part of this can be Spend for the Indian infrastructure development India was in some where. Both should believe each other because no other way to end this battle

You talk like a Paki diplomat and trying to shift the balem on India. Must be due to the indoctrination you received in a Islamic nation where minorities are supposed to go through and learn the things forcefully, the way majority like you to do it. I don't know of many Indian Muslims who will act like Indian diplomat in Pakistan to express the concerns of the society at large.

Be brave we support u... We r not the ones who divided india, it was the intolerance of Muslims to live with others that caused the problem...

The very fact that you feel worried when India-Pakistan relations are strained shows how much Pak cares for its citizens. Ask any Muslim if they felt threatened during the Kargil war and the answer is NO. Pak is a country founded on religion and India is a country founded on a common belief of democracy and socialism.
As for India creating trouble in Kashmir, we give so much money to Kashmir(which comes from the tax that every Indian citizen pays) that we would have to be REALLY stupid to cause trouble there. If a big army can stop militants then US should have won the war in Iraq and Afghanistan long ago.
By the way, even though you are Hindu, I am glad that your patriotism for your country is bigger than your allegiance to your religion. That should eb a lesson for all Muslims in this world.
By agreeing to conduct for a joint committee on terrorism menace, India blindly trying to come into good book of USA. But alas God only can help India if we over believe American administration. Pakistan may be taking it granted that all their newly developed mass destructive weapons can be tested on the people of India. They know Indian Government will make noise about that for a while and as usual settle for a dialogue. Nobody is bothered about the loss of life. We don't have an agressive diplomacy to expose the real face of Pakistan Goverment. Every time they burn their midnight oil to harass us. Our system will be snoring when they work. India and Pakistan will never come to terms nor their intelligence agencies allow to do so. Only a bold leadership can give a befitting reply to Pakistan. Our leaders have forgotten that in the event of crisis we people of India unite together and ready to sacrifice anything for the sake of motherland. We people are looking for a bold initiative from the leadership. Jai Hind

I think thats greatly true.. we need good strong leadership.. too much of anything is good for nothing.. too much of pacifist attitude will do no good.. and all the more trying relying on USA is like riding on Tigers tail.. soon it will turn back and bite us.. !!
PKL. Tuesday, 6th March 2007. Officials of the Neighbouring Countries usually quietly negotiate such joint sessions in the spirit of tackling the hard nitty -gritty of muzzling terrorist activities without sledging or rival finger-pointing as to wheter who is dirtier than the other! Unfortunately , Indo-Paki conclaves of Offials , or their Political Bosses never succeed in side-stepping such rhetorical bickerings..as yet. We face ugly embarrassments despite diplomatic savvy courtesies in every socalled Peace Initiative or Confidence Building Measure. IT appears to be tokenism marred by ever present spleen as the hangover of past bitter passions over of Partition and its diabolical legacy even after two generations and more...D.Goel
Its a real shame on INDIAN govt ! ..These guys continue dialogues in spite of thuosands of innocent people get killed in IND by Pak - sponsored Terrorists !...God plese help IND !....

The Kashmir controversy is a major reason for the present conflict between India and Pakistan. The stakes have been raised because both countries are not parties to the nuclear non-proliferation agreement and have developed a nuclear arsenals

Kashmir is not an issue between India nd Pakistan and neither is it a Hindu-Muslim issue u fool..its the Pak sponsered terrorism-they hav been violating our nation since their existence to save their souls from NWFP and Baluch which anyways never happened to be part of a failed state. Imagine, they dont even have land reforms, education and democracy in last 60 years! What can we talk to them about anything in the world. Our govt is in fallacy if it is serious about Pakistan..they shud just do time-pass now till that state collapses after Prez Musharraf. It is now time they are paying for their foolishness and sins. Later we can send Tata's trucks and Maruti 800s to rebuild their lives as humanitarian gesture.Thats the truth we must accept and this is the only modest response they deserve for their acts of terror. But I hav doubts about the soft policies of our present govt. so let us be patient till UP elections.
Great- kashmiri militants fed and looked after at Indian taxpayers cost in Indian Jail gets released after an Indian plane gets hijacked and takes refuge in Pakistan! WOW- Now the entire country gets hijacked by ISI Men posing as members of the Joint commission in an Indo-Pak committee to fight terrorism! Here is an absolutely desparte girl looking for getting raped again not enough being mass raped already.... Shame on our Government!!!!

The peace Accord signed by the Government of Nepal and the Maoists is an indicator of how the movement took shape over the years and has been instrumental in bringing about a change in the governance of Nepal. However, what needs to be understood is that replacement of monarchy was the major issue and Prachanda, the Maoist leader, along with his deputy Bhattarai contributed in effecting the change. What needs to be seen is the cadre and the rank and file accepting the truce in the correct perspective of bringing stability in the region.

China%u2019s role as a leading provider of sensitive technology to Pakistan has repeatedly strained U.S.-China relations, and has complicated efforts to expand U.S.-China trade. The Archive%u2019s South Asia project is using the FOIA to seek the declassification of documents discussing this issue, and other contemporary and controversial topics. Materials collected for this project will, of course, reflect a U.S. perspective. As noted, non-proliferation policy is influenced by other concerns, including competition among the major powers. The Archive%u2019s efforts are directed toward enhancing understanding of U.S. decisions and the issues that influenced policy formulation. The analyst for the South Asia nuclear project is Joyce Battle, who prepared this briefing book. She is also the analyst for the Archive%u2019s documentation projects on the Persian Gulf and U.S. policy toward Iraq. Materials collected for the latter project were published in a document set, Iraqgate: Saddam Hussein, U.S. Policy and the Prelude to the Persian Gulf War, 1980-1994 (Chadwyck-Healey, 1994). She has an MA in Middle East Studies from Harvard and an MS in Library Science from Columbia.
Interesting thing is...... generally joint anti terrorism action plans takes place between two victim states....... And to the shame of every one.... now the joint mechanism will be bewteen a terrorism sponsering country and a victim country.
During the earthquake in J&k pakistan had refused entry o findian troops in the POK. so it highly unjust that they be givn information regarding the blast in samjhauta express. Moreove years of talks and talsk have hardly been to any use..
