Visitors allowed @ Vishranthi?
by Vasant on Mar 07, 2007 08:18 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Do such homes allow visitors who could come a spend some time with these elders. I think they really would need somebody of their childrens age to spend time (Of course we can't make them as happy as their kids could do, if they care for).

This is high time when actually government has to interefere in such personal family matters. how a person can be so rude that he can maintain very well himself, his spouse and children. But when it comes to their own parents who have taken so much pain to grow them, make them stand on their own legs and so many other emotional things. how can someone forget that "The Mother" who has taken so much pain to give the birth and kept the child in her womb for nine months. One thing is sure that Maa's love is more than anyone else's in this universe. So please friends do not indulge yourself into such situation where you cannot live with your parents. My request to everyone that please be with your parents, pay them the respect.

Loving Mothers in vishranthi.
I will pray for your health as have tears in my eyes to read about you all. The feeling of lonliness is very bad and We have experienced after our Daddy passed away. Till today my mom is with me and will be with me but her lonliness is taken care by my son, which keep her happy and cheer full. I hate such childern who abandoned there own parents. This is the ill effect of western still of living.Instead of punishing the childern they should be bar/ kicked out of the society. this is the only punishing them so they can understand the pains of lonliness. Hats off to Vishranthi.
once again lots of love to all loving mothers staying in vishranthi.

Respect the Elders..
by Jakk ayappan on Mar 07, 2007 06:48 PM  Permalink

The culture of india is respecting the elders which is fading very fast in the computer age. The family values are no more in this world. Has to create the awarness about our culture among the youth. Pls do not abandon your lovable Parents who gave all their best for your growth, Life, Happiness. You can not afford your parents curse, that is the worst in the world even though they wont curse really. May God bless all.

This really hurts
by Satish on Mar 07, 2007 06:41 PM  Permalink

I fail to understand how can children grow up to abondon parents. I don't want to post a long message here but it's something unimaginable and heinous. Shameful that we have such people around us. Govt regualations apart, what we could do is, whenever we come across such ungrateful/cruel people, let everyone around them know about their nature so that they are isolated like the ones infected with a dreaded ailment.

Attitude rather than Law will help
by Rajesh Suryawanshi on Mar 07, 2007 06:39 PM  Permalink

With Indian mentality, do you think parents will take their children to court/police for this? I don't think so...

Rather why should we depend on others? While we are in our earning age, we should save for life after retirement.
