I know Balthazar and his father. He studied in Campion School and I taught him. I am happy someone has researched his ancestry and he should be excited. Fr. Joe Saldanha, S.J.

Fr. shouldnt you be more bothered about what people do with their lives rather than their ancestry?

SO equal opportunities offered by flat world can make anybody prince of france? Good logic.
Just curiously I googled with the lawyer's name and found that it was already in the news .. but almost more than one year ago .. and that too in Taipei Times ... this shows how the media industry in India has growed(?) and vastly over-rated. Again, the heading in rediff is wrong ... the guy is not a farmer but a lawyer ... IN WHICH WORLD WE ARE LIVING? http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/feat/archives/2006/01/10/2003288377

the second point is not correct in my previous post coz he is partly lawyer and partly farmer .. though in his photo in Taipei Times he remotely resembles to a farmer!!!

Yeah! It will strengthen Indo-France relations- we will have more cultural exchange between India and France, we will gets Mirage-2000 and spare parts for cheaper price, France will support India in its bid to UNSC, France will make India a 'most favoured nation' and will waive duties for Indian exports....
Mr. Bhushan, wake up. Neither India nor France is a banana-republic that some irrelevant obscure news like this will change anything between the countries.
Also, remember how Sonia being an Italian has changed Indo-Italian relationship? The only thing that I see is a criminal like Quattrochi (Sonia's friend) having access to top-secret govt. documents in Rajiv Gandhi's office! If anything I see France govt. trying to recruit this farmer-lawyer as an agent (15 years back it would have been the KGB)
