Madam Sonia Gandhi,
by mohamed ansari on Mar 04, 2007 12:50 PM  Permalink

You were the only oerson responsible for bringing back the Congress and other Secular groups in power. I feel you have rescued India from the cluthches of the communalists and tehalka criminals.

But Madam, you may be well aware that you do not have the dynamic, able and efficient colleagues in good number. Many of them are mentally under pressure of the rascals whom you are fighting, whose nonsense aims, deeds and objectsmust be wiped from the atmosphere to India.
We the Muslims, most honest and sincere citizens have bitter exoerience in the country.
Kindly ponder over.
Yours admiringly,
Mohamed Ibrahim Ansari.

What committee can rejuvanate congress?
by Paula Joseph on Mar 01, 2007 05:40 PM  Permalink

The meagre presence of Cong in UP cannot be rejuvanated by forming committees. Even in the last Muncipal elections, poster boy Rahul Gandhi could do nothing to improve its performance. UP is one of the most volatile state of India, where the tensions between Hindus and Muslims are still alive due to opportunistic politics in the state. With the cong policies like Minorityism will help to further dampen its prospects in the state. It is rather over-optimistic to fight in between 3 big bulls BJP, SP & BSP. In the last elections, a survey mentioned that BJP's traditional urban vote bank shifted to Congress due to upset over local issues. However, BJP succeeded in getting them back in their fold later, which is apparent in recent local body elections and Uttaranchal assembly elections.
On the otherhand, BJP's main attack on cong is inability to control sky-rocketing prices. Our great PM helplessly admitted recently that there should be a trade-off between growth & inflation. Will backward UP care about his trade-offs and juggling statistics? In addition, UPA's anti-farmer policies will put Cong in defence in Agriculture based states like UP. Recent Q-factor (Quattrochi detention issue in Argentina) added more salt to Cong wounds.
Its high time for them to restructure the whole congress party based on Mahatma's ideals and vision. Otherwise, its a sinking boat.

Dr. P. Joseph.

Sonia akin to BaankeLal(Hindi Comic Character)
by Ajay Mishra on Mar 01, 2007 03:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sonia and congress seem to believe that they won the last general election. And it is this feeling that compel them glorify their Madam. But the fact is, it was BJP who lost the election but congress neither won the election nor it has mandate of Indian electorate to rule the state. Sonia has got the credit for all those things which perhaps never happened. This establishes the resemblence between her and Baankelal.

So, when it is time of crisis, she will do all sort of wierd things you can imagine Baanke doing at the time of crisis. Hope we have fun out of her deeds as we have from baanke's

Think Sonia Think!

Resp. SG, (UPA Chair-person),
Do your home work on your own. Had you really won the last parliamentary elections? Are you in the Govt. by peoples' mandate or by just mere chance? Are you not been surrounded by charlatans in CWC? Are your steps really in the interest of this country's integrity and are these steps wedged so far? I will simply suggest that please don't behave partial for any step. Be a real human and not toaday's SG who I think is mauch unaware of the facts and is more often misguided by pretenders. Kahin aisa na ho ki haath ki ek aur haar ho jaye Ganga paar!
