The Nehru jacket is a hip-length tailored coat for men or women, with a stand-up or "mandarin" collar, and modeled on the South Asian achkan or sherwani, an apparel worn by Jawaharlal Nehru, the Prime Minister of India from 1947 to 1964. However, unlike the achkan, which falls somewhere below the knees of the wearer, the Nehru jacket is not only shorter, but also, in all respects other than the collar, resembles the suit jacket.

no sir, the cabinet at that time and now is well awake ... but they are busy, doing SYCOPHANCY in front of a Restuarant Waitress who immigrated from a village pub in Italy. God knows if this is what the same line as CIA planted its assets in the form of wife to the Shah of Iran, 1965-66 and that of USSR, erstwhile.

Bitter relations with neighbours ( even Srilanka ,Nepal,etc.) 11. Ongoing North East prob 12. Puppet Ministers ,Prime Ministers - soon ( President) 13. Cm like Rabri,Laloo ( with their support only)

THEN CAME HIS DAUGHTER WHO SCREWED INDIA FOR 20-25 YRS WHEN SHE HAD TO SACRIFICE HER OWN SON FOR IT. THEN CAME HER OTHER SON WHO WAS A COOL PILOT AND THIS MAN FINGERED IN SRILANKA INTERNAL WAR. THEN CAME THIS LADY WHO KEEPS A PUUPET IN PM OFFICE AND THE PM HAS TO TAKE HER PERMISSION FOR GOING TO TOILET ALSO. SHE IS PLANNING TO KEEP ANOTHER PUPPET IN RAJ BHAWAN SO THAT IN 2009 SHE WILL HELP THE FAMILY TO GET POWER. well,lets not go by heresay and what CIA orKGB thinks about our own leaders.It seems u listen to one side of the story all the time.To call someone Gandhis stature name is clear case of ignorance of history and lack of maturity.Our leaders were not god as sometime,their supporter claims clearly to secure vote durings elections or villians as opposition parties claim to stop them from getting votes.Those were difficult times,if u read the article as it mentions the kind of popularity Nehru enjoyed at that time,i am impressed that he didnt become a Dictator ,which his daughter certainly tried.We can give him some credit for that.If u read our history seriously and listen both side of story ,u too as me be convinced that Nehru was a great leader who also commited some big blunders.

Absolutely true, the gandhi surname started when mahatma gandhi adopted feroze, as nehru was opposed to feroze marrying indira and one reason for that being he was a muslim grocer's son. To please nehru and change his mind towards feroze, the mahatma himself adopted feroze as his son and turned him into a hindu, and eventually nehru agreed to their marriage. The other story behind the surname is that feroze's surname was 'ghondee' and it was twisted to 'gandhi' as not many would 'notice' this change and would bring its own benefits.

Pandit (????) Nehru was the tragedy for our great nation. The most impotent PM ever any country can have (worst than Chemberlin of UK during WW2)!!! This guy (???) was always behind british babes and busy lighting thier cigarettes............... We celebrate 14th November as a Childern's Day not because this hopeless Nehru loved children but for the fact that he (?) was indeed the most "childish" PM we had. That's the reason for childern's day .......
