Reading the comments of people here, it seems that nobody has given a thought to the other side of the story.If you read the stories of about two years ago, you will find that allegations of rape has been filed by Kashmiri muslim women, which were found to be false, when the women were medically examined. The two soldiers were there on a tip off by an informer, who was later found to be a supporter of LET. The terrorists found it a perfect opportunity to try to bring a bad name to Indian army and try to highlight it all over the world. The professional manner in which the video was made right from the time when the solders went into the house, seems to be work of professional Pakis. The most vigorous demand of Musharraf is to demilitarise Kashmir, this seems to be part of the Paki strategy to highlight this incident as a rape case. Has the girl been medically examined, and where is the medical report?
Soldiers are there to protect the civilians, and unlike police they aint authorized even to raise their hands against civilians.
Its a real shame to our nation.
I do hope the 17 year old girl is safe and I pray she recovers from this catastrophe.
On the broader sense I do feel the structure of Indian Defence the manner they are recruiting personel and posting them in far away places normally robs the morality out of them.
For a country like India we share long international borders I for one advocate the need for compulsary Military training to everyone or Military person posted in civilian departments and rotated on a 6 month basis.
Whoever cunducts offense and henious acts like this they should be punished seviourly. No sympathy just because they are soldiers (Unfortunatley). The greatest way one can serve the country is protecting the country but some in very large service sector like military does such unpardonable acts. Most importantly the government should study the case with utmost care and innocents should not be punished.

congress needs to learn respect military and have to take actions against people who took law in there hands and forced military to parade naked on streets. i am sure mr. antony will not ask report on this becuase they do not want to disturb minority votes. shame on congresss... sonia gandhi...PM manmonhan.... and anthony...

Remember the power corrupts ...the so called military or whoever you think did this should be brought out ... this should be an issue of national debate and these guys should be photographed. I feel civilian should not take LAW in own hand. Its Military and Policy job. In future everyone will think same and take law in own hand. We are not in Pakistan. Also we don't know the reality. Kashmir muslims are from Pakistans and the story may not be true at all. After two days there won't be any news on this.
