Mumbai has always been a dream destination for people from different parts of India. The best and the disciplined survive.Though the city has a knack of absorbing huge numbers, the people who get the luxury of being settled are the ones who are clear in their aim. The City too, should poise to have a clear path laid out in terms of infrastructure like power,better connectivity through efficient waterways. This and other measures will help in decongest or rather organise the physical structure of the city. With numerous attempts at bombing the railways( nerve centre), the city still fights back on its own. Its high time the centre takes notice of the natural highlevelness of the people and innitiate measures to make it a global city!!! PLEASE SUPPORT IN MAKING IT A GLOBAL CITY!!

Dear Kiran Pradip, south India comprises of Karnataka, Andhra, Kerala & TN and not just Tamil Nadu. Hence there are other languages like Kannada, Telugu & Malayalam also. Just because Tamilians are arrogant & fanatic, dont pass on the same to others.

Just because parts of UP and the whole of Bihar are in bad conditions, that does not mean that the whole of the NORTH including parts of UP like LKO are in bad condition and we are illiterate.

aryna, what is your defination on "BEST" in India? No offense to any individual but my defination of "BEST" does not includes a place where people die in their car because of heavy rain. Where people have to spend more than 2hrs commuting from off. to home i.e. around 10% or your life. Yes, if Mumbai can improve these, we can talk abt Mumbai being "BEST"

wow what a great solution! who are you rich or poor? poor people & slum dwellers are being shot to death already, whats new in that? rich ramming cars into slum dwellers, blasts killing poor people, aren't these live examples?
First of all stop fighting with each other in the name of religion , we all are equall n one should give respect to every religion. United we stand and divided we fall ... due to this nature of blaming each other we have suffered in the past ...
Basically look the transportation , cond of lacal rails and busses, drainage system , pollution ... plz tell me whose responsible for this BIHARI, GUJRATI, UP,or MARATHI ??? itz the fault of the state govt ... who just bark and do nothing for a common man...

When you with Manmohan Singh giving him advice, do bring up te topic on CEO's being paid highly.
Tell him politicians do much better as seen in the case of Mayawati. 400% increase in wealth in 3 years. Which CEO can match that ???
Mumbai is a nice and a beautiful place. People in Mumbai are active, good and helpful. Just b'coz of certain bad events, you can't criticize the City and its people.
