Stirring?
by unni krishnan nair on Jun 27, 2007 09:37 PM  Permalink

Islam stipulates that Allah is the only God and Mohammed is the last prophet.

But by offering pooja in a temple Mr.Hasan Ali is risking his status as a Muslim. And he has no business to be in the temple for doing anything other than offering pooja.

Why so much fuss?
by Miharika on Jun 27, 2007 09:28 PM  Permalink

Isnt it about time that we got rid of all these taboos and barriers. Let whoever wants to worship enter a place of worship. God has not made all these rules, man has. The temple / mosque authorities should be pleased that more worshippers are coming to their temple or mosque. On a mercenary note, their coffers will also increase !!!

Religious sentiments should be respected.
by Delhiwala on Jun 27, 2007 08:35 PM  Permalink

but BJP doesnt have any authority to speak on behalf of hindus.

If BJP members visits the temple, then the temple is itself is spoiled. Temple has to be purified if BJP members enter the temple.
But since BJP says that it is a pro-hindu party, nobody will purify the temple.

So immediately a muslim has to enter the temple to purify the evils commited by BJP.

Why should I not go tot temple
by Bodh Ramdeo on Jun 27, 2007 08:32 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What is it with you people? If anyone, irrespective of ethnic or religious background wishes to visit a temple in a respectful manner, then he/she should not only be allowed, but encouraged to do so.
After all, it should serve as a place to unite peoples, not divide them - a place where all are equal, if only for that moment.
