this is the history of Congress that they always prefered rubber stamp and yesman President except the first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Congress always ignore the opposition in finding a suitable and acceptable to all a President . It was NDA who did not impose its candidate and Kalam emerged as one of the best president ever India has seen.
and even if the charges against Pratibha found to be false why Congress not consulting and negotiating the opposition in finding a consensus candidate rather than imposing a rubber stamp and yesman on the highest post.

It is a matter of shame that a prime minister of a great democratic nation has to defend by calling himself as "not a theif" when Bofor scandal surfaced.So far this case has been given political justice but not natural justice.Now lackluster personities having been nominated for a most respectable post of the country, to cover the past stains and doubtable governance our politicians have been painting bright to call it as pratibhaful.

If a common man not re-paying his loan from a bank. Dr. Singh will advise same thing to banks. Let Mr. Chidambaram Answer my question. As a pereson in public life Ms. Pratiba Patil has moral conviction to repay the loan. It is peoples' money.

just bcoz other sugar mill owners also defaulted in loan payment does not mean that p patil's loan default is justified. it is like saying 'many others r corrupt, so how does it matter if pratibha is also corrupt'.
manmohan should also explain the following regarding the great lady would b president.
- if she is not shielding her brother in a murder charge. - why did a co-operative bank floated by her waived loans given to her relatives? later the bank was closed down by RBI due to financial irregularities. - why did she return the anti conversion bill to the rajasthan govt as the governor of rajasthan and after it was again submitted the same without any changes, why she kept it with her for a year without signing? but after becoming a candidate for presidentship, why did she sign it? if there was nothing wrong in the bill, she is at fault for keeping the bill with her for a year. - she said that she chatted with the spirit of 'dadaji', the founder of brahma kumaris; who hinted her about her getting presidentship. will she take future decisions after consulting dadaji's spirit?
now no onecan save the country from being ruled by italian sonia and Quatrochis, with such puppet pm and president designate.
This woman can't run a sugar factory in a small factory and we are making her the President. Does not know history and talks to ghosts after hallucinating. We have not heard anything about her ideology and her vision.
