Who are the terrorists
by Debajyoti Majumdar on Jun 27, 2007 10:53 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Be it communism, democracy, monarchy or any other form of governance, if proper care is not taken for the common denizens, a group of people will start getting deprived. These people with start gathering together and slowly form a class of their own. Earlier they were called outlaws, now terrorists and tomorrow whatever may be, but one thing is preety common, they will always have the help of some common people who too are deprived and will take the sleep off from the eyes of the priveledged and the administrators. Bihar and Jharkhand though very strong in natural resources, hardly find affluence within the state. Albeit no point in sparing whosoever is playing with the law and order, but the government need to plan its resources accordingly, as its the situation of deprival that turns these young men terrorists.

COMMUNISM OR OPPORTUNISM
by John Corniche on Jun 27, 2007 10:50 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What Maoists are doing in India ? Who is funding them ? And who is hosting them in WB ?

People fiercely debate Bajrang Dal, VHP, DFL, Offshoots of SIMI and blame them on the politicla parties like BJP and Muslim League etc ...

Why can't media question CPI & CPM about Maoists in India ? Are these political parties harbouring these violent outfits ?

And if that Doctor, Engineer or Babu is you or your father or your relative, is it still acceptable ?

Violence can never be solution to any problems. And killing someone can never erase that problem. It only aggravates the problem.

Communication/Dialogue is the key.

Hello... it is the mainstream left parties that are bearing brunt on more occasions. In Nandigram, Maoists join hands with Trinamool goons to oppose CPI(M).

Only the mainstream Left can bring the change
by ganesh subi on Jun 27, 2007 10:48 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is only the rejuvenated mainstream Left, led by CPI(M), bring the change. It is time for us to rise to the occasion. One may appreciate, for the first time in the history of Indian politics, the supporting party of a government has submitted notes on every issue concerned to indian public. Kudos to CPI(M). We may also note on many occasions again and again they have proved they remain honest, for instance, that is the only big party from no MP has found taking money for asking questions in parliament.

Yes, kudos to CPI/CPM ... they have brought a massive change in India already.

10 CRORE BANGLADESHIS HAVE ALREADY CROSSED INTO INDIA. THATS A BIG ACHIEVEMENT POST INDEPENDENCE FOR CPI/CPM.

(And common people are suffering bomb blasts on trains due to Bangladeshi islamic outfits).

Thats really a big achievement !!

Do you know the total population of muslims in India? And it is the CPI(M) that is insisting on fencing the border. Both, Congress and BJP are refusing to do that for obvious reasons.

Maoism - is it terrorism
by brahman on Jun 27, 2007 10:47 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

from what the news item say, it is a bit difficult to brand the Maoists as terrorists - if Maoists are terrorists then what about the WB Government... It is at the behest of Government that the Nandigram incident happened where civilians (farmers) were killed and beaten up. SEZ is another new found way for the government (for selfish monetary gains) to capture agricultural lands from poor farmers in the name of globalisation and industrialisation. If this trend continue hapazardly, the way in which it is adopted and implemented by the state of WB (and Maharashtra too), the day is not far away that India will have only Industries and SEZ and no agricultural land and farming. Terrorists are not born, they are made... when the elected representatives do not give protection and justice to the common man, it is but natural that either they themself take up arms or support the faction which communicated with arms and ammunitions. In India, politicians and ministers (Government per se) are the most dreaded terrorists who loot the common man, farmers in so many ways, draining the government kitty for creating their own empires elsewhere. Most of the NRI investments are the same money which is sent from India, parked elsewhere, to be invested back in India to gain multiplying profits and tax gains.

So you mean that they get the license to kill Inocent people..

You are justifing the act as a retaliation against GOV...but these Maoists and terrorists and involed in killing inocent peoples.

I agree that there are flows the way our Gov is functioning, But it does not mean that every common man took the GUN and start killing Inocent peoples.

sir... unless we have a transparant and sincere ministers and Government in place, it would culminate in to creation of more and more such factions in retaliation... while these groups are not elected or selected or accepted by the public...installing a clean government is always in the hands of the common man....it is high time that we think about a change in the entire system and governance..
