Ultimatly the honest tax payer is the victim. These are the most irrational things the maoist's are doing. Railways are public property and they serve the common ppl. What maoist want to show case by burning RS.Who is the leader of the maoists ?
Yessir, couldn't have heppened in a better state - the Communist State of West Bengal, the Red Raj. Their Maoist comrades have declared and are violently enforcing a two-day economic blockade against the railways, a federal govt entity. Yet lo and behold, the Rlwys have recognized this Maoist blockade, as instead of the federal govt sending out contingents of heavily armed special forces to mop them up, it has chosen instead to cancel most trains services. This just another example of the complicity and collusion of the UPA-Left govt with these Maoists and other insurgent groups. Not only should the federal Home Minister, Useless Idiot Patil be fired, but also the Railways Minister, Lalu Goonda Prasad along with the PM, Maulana MMS and his pack of butt-licking toadies.
This problem has gone way out of control. The only solution may be imposition of Emergency for a limited period, during which concerted efforts must be made by all parties to arrive at a just and peaceful resolution. Otherwise these kind of incidents will just escalate into out and out anarchy. The government, centre and state, are also equally responsible for allowing matters to reach such proportions. Kerala years ago, managed to nip Naxalism in the bud through their tourism industry and mass exodus to the Gulf, i.e. economic empowerment. If they could do it, any other state can.

Tinda, your explanation sounds frighteningly logical. I am not from this region so I am not aware of the background, but your explanation makes a lot of sense.

It is a shame that we still allow these communists to operate in a civilised country like India...
It is condemnable that instead of pointing the fingers at Maoists, some people targeting Karat, Yechury... and even ordinary muslims... The language is unbearable. Provocative... The discussion board should be more mature..

Agree that the discussion board is mature. The Karats and Yechurys are being targeted mainly because of their style of operation. They are mediating for nepalees Maoist and helping them to be main stream of politics but what is happening in their own backyard. They talk as if they support the poor peoples but happened in Nandigram..

Tapan & Rahul, You are right.
Ganesh, should we apologise ? For what ? Please remember that Communism has failed world over. And here in India we don't know what brand of Communism is being dished out.
Please read "Reasons for Commie success in WB & Kerala" by Tinda above. You will understand.
Any society where you are not allowed to think freely is bound to fail. You can not restrict human mind.
Similarly any movement which is violent & suppressive will not last long. It will start with butchering others but slowly will turn inward and the same society will have to pay the price.
