We,the Indians,can boast of a such gallant hero who dedicated his personal pleasure for the prestige,unity and sovereighty of our country and successful mission. Rediff should depict the history of such National heroes who fought against the British Raj to free our country from the foreign rule$bondage and made our country independent..In this regard--I fervently appeal to the rediff to publish an article which may help to unveil the death mystery of Netaji Subhas chandra Bose.

The last line - "thats the way we are treated in J & K" says it all. SHAME ON J&K GOVT. The so called - patriotic secularist politicians in J&K esp. the CM - shame on you. You spend crores on your trips,visits & bungalow renovations. You spend crores for appeasement of anti India Kashmiri muslims, but this for Mr. Bana Singh - shameful!! This is what is expected when the PM & the (future) President are foot lickers of Italians!!!

Bhanu, I too am an Dogra, But feel quite ashamed of the State govt. which has never been supportive to the country`s cause. Hadnt it been the resistance from Dogras & sihks this state would have been acceeded to Pakistan long back by the succesive state govts.

You are right Vivek, Dogras and Sikhs have been holding the state against pakistan, I still remember those bom blasts in Purani Mandi...
I was wondering if we can do something by writing to CM about these battle heros and request him to support their families!

Bhanu, I really dont know if writing to the CM would fetch any results. My own 34 year old first cousin has been bed ridden for the past 4 years with a spinal injury whiich he sustained during counter insurgency operations in Doda. Theres nothing much which the govt. has done till now for him except passing on his salary as he was on duty. We,ve been desprately looking for stem cell therapy treatment which is the only cure possible. Our experience with the govt. has been really bad.
Politics and circumstances have triggered off actions and reactions by India/Pakistan and Kashmiris. What transpired was History and accept it rather than question it.Now we must look ahead and examine what is good for the people. Kashmir must question the emotional issue of independance ? What will be gained by this ? Are they not free to-day ? Opression if any is because of the current political situation if that is neutralised there is everything to be gained by the valley and the people. India gives freedom to practice ones religion. A peaceful Kashmir can join the mainstream of India and join the booming economy and be part of it. An out of the box thinking is required and sorted out between Govt.of India and Kashmiris. Let there be no divide here. Islam is everywhere and not necessarily only in Pakistan.
Captain Bana Singh is a true real life Hero.He must be ideal of todays younsters and not filmy heroes who are always in all sorts of affairs,always in news for all the wrong things they keep on doing. Captain Bana Singh doesn't fear death,loves our country truly,can give life for country.What the soldiers get in return is really sad.
