Personally, I have nothing against muslim borns. However, I do feel that Islam has not evolved since it was born, due to its intense intolerance to criticism.
Jesus/bible is regularly criticised by christians, many hindu gods/books are criticised by hindus, and similarly other religions. They are not threatened with death. Though there are stray groups who threaten people sometime, the vast majority has rejected a lot of evil practices prescribed by these books.
Islam, on the other hand, threatens death for anybody who dares to criticise it, or even to people who convert out of it. I find most arguments of muslims are based on the assumption that Muhammad/Quran was right (which they may or may not be). None of them, one may find is willing to discuss the authenticity of Muhammad/Quran despite there being no proof of their inviolability except Muhammad saying so.
Unless muslims are free to criticise Islam, I don't think their praise for it is valid.
This is a key issue. All other religions are criticised by their practioners; rarely do muslims do that despite their being at the bottom of the pile with respect to all religions on measures such as per capita wealth, happiness index, human rights, science, and being the top contributor for global terrorism. People sometimes misunderstand lack of criticism of Islam by muslims as its greatness; but it is a proof of its decadence/medieval mentality/insecurity. It is a lack of choice.

CONCENTRATE ON SPIRITUAL GOALS When you die, you are not going to take a Nobel Prize or Money or your Degree... Whatever you aquire in this World is Subjected to Destruction... Even if you Earn Millions and give it to your Children.. Nobody is going to Miss you after your death... Demise is only for a few days... Muslims are Visionary they are more intrested for the Permanent Life which is going to come after Death... Generally True Muslims involve in Purfying the Souls 5 times a day and prepare for the Permanent life.. Prophet Mohammed says that "A clever Man among you is the One who constantly plans for the Life after Death" hope you understand this Spiritual Language...

Dear Pankaj, As a Hindu, you are not beleiving the Permanent Life after Death.. It is not complicated as you think... We Human Beings in this World are subjected to the Destiny and Gravity of this World... If you are Spiritually divine, your soul gets Purified and comes out of the Gravity of this Life and you can do whatever you wish in that Stage and even if your body gets decayed.. Your Soul enjoys the benefits of Purity.. This Permanent Stage is called HEAVEN and you can do what ever you wish.. God has sent us here to the Earth to make an effort to Purify the Souls.. To attain this same Purity Saints try in different ways, indeed Islam tells the Comphrehensive way to attain Purity by not Isolating yourselves from this World..

1) Sun rotating on its own axis is invented very recently by knowing the position of Black spots, but this phenomenon is addressed in Koran long back.
2) Earth is in the shape of Ostrich Egg, which means globe is invented before some 400 years but the same was in Koran long back.
3) Blood Circulation and Stages of Embryology are well detailed in Koran..
4)Water of different Oceans seperated by Density is addressed in Koran..
Many more things are there, it is left to the Human Beings to take Knowledge from Koran...

You know that Carpets can be laid on Large Dia Spheres (Earth)... The reason for calling Earth a Carpet is, it gives you accomodation to Live...

I don't know what is written in koran.Evenif something useful it is adapted from vedas or upanishads.
It is the impotence of the followers of islam that leads to much war in our world. Their anger that generates from non tolerance is so great that ultimately they would perish as fools. Fools as they are born, fools they will remain and as fools they will die...

Amongst the various attributes given in Rigveda, one of the beautiful attributes for Almighty God is Brahma. Brahma means %u2018the Creator. If you translate into Arabic it means Khaliq. Islam does not object to anyone calling Almighty God as Khaliq or Creator or Brahma, but if someone says that Brahma i.e. Almighty God has got four heads and on each head is a crown and this Brahma has got four hands, Islam takes strong exception to it because such descriptions give an image to Almighty God. Such descriptions are also against what is propounded in Yajurveda Chapter 32, verse 3 which says:
Na tasya pratima asti There is no image of Him. (Yajurveda 32:3)

Mosque is a community centre where people gather and pray. Even if all the mosques are broken there will still be One God. It is not a place of idol worship. There is no god sitting inside the mosque. Kaaba was broken many times by the invading armies. Does it destroy Islam. This religion will be there as long as God is there. It does not depend on its followers too. Even if every muslim in this world is killed. Islam remains.

1. What is Jazia as per Islam. Is it justifiable. 2. Idol breaking. Is it justifiable when it hurts other. 3. Quran prohibits sketching of bird, human , animal etc etc. Is it justifiable. 4. Mohamad faught war , killed many. As areligious preacher, is it sound good if a saint kill and That too only males and marry or distribute woman folk.

No point in self praising. Hinduism stood as a rock and infact it is because of India that Islam could not convert the whole asia.

QUESTION: Why did MOhammed destroy all the idols in Kabah in Mecca....?? ANSWER: Pure Hinduism does not Promote or encourage Idol Worship.. 1) Meaning of OM: I read an article from Arya Samaj a Hindu Org, which gives 100 meanings for the word OM. One of the meaning is Formless. If the meaning is true then why do we call hindu gods starting with om. om Shiva, om vinayaga, om narayana etc. Which means Formless Shiva, Formless Vinayaga or Formless Narayana. If the meaning of Om is true then Vinayaga should not have a form. I think that it is just an artistic expression that people had given to Idols and it may not be true.
Hindu gods, want to call them as FORMLESS but Mis-interpreted Hindus give it a form as per their wish... IRONIC ????

It is mentioned in Yajurved Andhatma pravishanti ye assambhuti mupaste They enter darkness, those who worship natural things. E.g. worship of natural elements air, water, fire, etc. (Yajurveda 40:9)
It further continues and says They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti i.e. created things E.g. created things such as table, chair, idols, etc.

You chose to believe a book/man who told you something. Others may chose to believe something else because their parents told them something else.
