She has visited India 3 times !!!!! and we call her Indian. Shes nothing but another ABCD (American Born Confused Desi). Would we be bothered if any American dies coming back from space.. then why worry abt this lady

Deepak, firstly we Indians do not care about our own statesmen who DIE in our OWN COUNTRY and that too IN OUR OWN STATE!!!!! let alone what you are talking about...for those Indian who die outside their state , they get their due grevances , their bodies are shipped/flown and their nearest of kith/kin are informed with kindness and sympathy....In our country thousands die in bomb blasts, train wrecks , bus wrecks, riots, earthquack, massacres....etc..and no one care or is even able to find traces of these people........

Why make a monument for an American Citizen in India ??? Not all Hindus are Indians...not everyone with Indian names are Indians.
why there is so much hue & cry for Sunita when there are hundreds of people dying because of heat in norht India. I have not seen more 1 news article on that in all news websites/newspapers. And Sunita is everywhere, 24X7 for sometime in almost all Indian news channels..
I agree going to space is really full of risk but I see everywhere in india thinking/praying for sunita's return. First of all whether do we need to really think too much about sunita (now an american). She has gone there with all sorts of protection (only because of some unfortunate only (like descovery) problem may come). I think percentage of survival in india (if u go to remote area) much worse than sunita returns. Therefore I appeal if u have some time please pray for those who are dying becasue of food, heat and diseases.
I am NRI and I dont think India will ever be attractive enough in my life time to bring me back. So shut up and think with an open mindset. Only when Indians think with an open mindset that I might consider going back. Dont say that everyone abroad is living there for money just because you wanted to go abroad for money and couldn't do so. I live in a superpower country, why would I care to leave for some old country with old way of thinking and always dreaming to be a superpower. Who cares if India is superpower. What I care is whether people think freely and open mindset.

lol you seem to be a loser to me who doesnt want people of his own race to succeed. Its our business how we are treated in the country where we live. If we are happy , we will live there. I live in the US. First of all 33% of the population is not goras. You seem to be jealous that you didnt get to live in a foreign country.

Can someone explain Y SUNITA WILLIAMS IS CALLED INDIAN AMERICAN? As per my information, she is born & bought up at USA. Her father (Indian) left India in 1960's. Her mother is a foreigner (I don't know which country). Just coz. her name is sunita? just coz. she took geeta & ganeshji's idol with her? just coz. she ate samosa in space? pls. explain.

Unlike other Asian Americans, they live spread out in the United States. So I think she has the right to be called INDIAN AMERICAN. And also, as Per Indian Constitution, If one of your Parents belongs from India you have the right to get the Dual Citizenship for approved countries.(USA is one of the country in that list) It was amendment made in Consititution. So I am not sure who needs more education.
