It's not BJP its the people of this country who want Dr Kalam as next president. BJP or third front may have their own hidden agenda but this doesnt deny the fact that people of this country (specially youth) want Dr Kalam as our President.

The BJP has not only insulted but Coongress has also insulted who has established the culture to nominate dummy &defeated persons ,so that they may be loyal to party instead to act as real first citizen of India or Governors in the State. The congress is only party who arrenge the defeat of party nominee inspite the sign.by the PM in 1969. A history of blackmailing to the country

ULTA CHOR KOTWAL KO DANTE.
it is the congress, upa, leftists, who have insulted honourable kalam by not withdrawing the candidature of p patil, who is said to b sheltering his brother involved in a murder and who has not repaid huge amount of loan to a bank and who at first returned the non conversion bill to rajasthan govt, then held it for an year after it was resent to her and now she has signed it (was the bill bad a year ago and is the bill good now? can u explain?)

Why do you say that? Kalam was the first choice, but he refused a second term. Shekawat offered to withdraw if Kalam contested. Despite enormous public support, Kalam did not come forward when Congress, communist and upa politicians started insulting him and accused him of being greedy. Do you think, congress will ever accept a non-congress candidate? It wants a president who is amenable. At least Kalam was non-political. We can watch the fun with sonia-congress nominee in Rashtrapathy bhavan
it is really sad that president will b chosen by the highly corrupt politicians like lalu, pawar, mk and the italian cunning lady sonia and not by the people. though all media is showing through sms, email etc that the people r overwhelmingly supporting kalam for re-election, congress, upa and leftists r not giving importance to the peoples' voice.
instead they want to elect a woman, who is reportedly shielding her brother involved in a murder, who had not repayed huge amount of loan and who has been selected merely bcoz she is a loyalist of the dynasty ever since emergency days.
i appeal to all MPs to vote against this lady otherwise the day is not far of when we shall b ruled by the Quatrochies. bcoz sonia already has a puppet pm and she is also going to have a puppet president, though people gave her party only 145/545 seats in the loksabha.

Dear Ram ,well said. The level of politics in this country has comedown to lowest level when the whole world is watching India some stupid politicians are playing their games. Ms Patil could be a good person but does she stand in front of Dr Kalam? What a shame for Indians, when we will stop morons to get elected as our representatives.
YOUTH OF THIS INDIA WILL TEACH THESE GOOD FOR NOTHING POLITICIANS A LESSON. Go for Vote next time and throw our Congress and its allies. They have to pay the price sooner or later for disregarding one of the great sons of India.
Mr.Pawar as agriculture minister - The growth of the agriculture sector is lowest. No concrete plan for the core sector. Farmer suicides are in rise. The Inflation gone up due to high price of pulses. The prices have gone up due to improper monitoring of stock position and no corrective action taken.
Mr.Pawar as BCCI president - The performance of Indian team is very bad. Indecisiveness and behind the scene politics.

he is reportedly having lot of black money. so his game cannot b over so easily, despite the fact that so many farmers r commiting suicide in his home state of maharastra year after year, which is also ruled by his party and congress. GAME OF PEOPLE LIKE HIM WILL NOT B OVER ALSO TILL THE EDUCATED PEOPLE TAKE ELECTIONS SERIOUSLY AND VOTE.

You are right, Sharad Pawar is having loads of black money and now he will cleansweep BCCI as well. Remember Telgi, the stamp paper seller ? Well he was just a stooge for Sharad Pawar/Bhujbal.
1. Why did Leadership not choose Dr. Kalam as their Presidential candidate initially? They have only thought his name in the last stage when UNPA suggested Dr. Kalam as their candidate.
2. Why did Leadership do a lot to insult Shekhawat to be an independent candidate of Presidential election, as he is from RSS and BJP? Nobody get any benefit, neither BJP nor Mr. Shekhawat and Dr. Kalam.
3. Why do the leadership not take a stable stand against Muslims nationally? A party has a policy against Muslims and pulls Dr. Kalam's name in the streets to take political benefits.
4. Why did the leadership choose Ms. Sonia, as an Italian lady, is BJP's enemy? Otherwise, Congress and BJP would have joined to rule long years.
5. Why did the leadership not make election strategies firstly as the Left does?

so according to u, p patil is the best person in the country to b the president, despite the fact that she is reportedly shielding his brother involved in a murder, has not repayed huse amount of bank loan and signed the anti conversion bill after keeping it pending for a year (how the bill became worth signing after one year and why it was not so one year ago)?

dear sahadevan
u have not replied to my question if she is the best person to b the president.
as per newspaper report, the press conferance was not called by bjp but by the wife of the deceased and it was held at an akali dal person's house.
You will have to look hard to find a politician without assets, both performing and non-performing, and unpaid loans. A few years back, the banks were asked to publish defaulters' names, and were given the authority to seize and auction the hypothecated properties. The banks were publishing the list in the newspapers, but have stopped now. In Pratibhaji's case, the state government is the guarantor. Even it is made a pre-condition to clear the loan prior to acceptance of nomination, she and the congress party will do it without batting an eye lid. She is not the lone beneficiary in such transactions.
I am really shocked as to how her name is prposed as presidential candidate when her sugar factory loan account is NPA. Do nt the congress, left and Sharad pawar know it.what a tragedy? God alone save us.
