Lt. Saurabh Kalia of 4 JAT Regiment of the Indian Army laid down his life at the young age of 22 for the nation while guarding the frontiers at Kargil. His parents, indeed the Indian Army and nation itself, lost a dedicated, honest and brave son. He was the first officer to detect and inform about Pakistani intrusion. Pakistan captured him and his patrol party of 5 brave men alive on May 15, 1999 from the Indian side of LOC. They were kept in captivity for three weeks and subjected to unprecedented brutal torture, evident from their bodies handed over by Pakistan Army on June 9, 1999. The Pakistanis indulged in dastardly acts of inflicting burns on these Indian officers with cigarettes, piercing their ears with hot rods, removing their eyes before puncturing them and breaking most of the bones and teeth. They even chopped off various limbs and private organs of the Indian soldiers besides inflicting unimaginable physical and mental torture.
After 22 days of torture, the brave soldiers were ultimately shot dead. A detailed post-mortem report is with the Indian Army. Pakistan dared to humiliate India this way flouting all international norms. They proved the extent to which they can degrade humanity. However, the Indian soldiers did not break while undergoing all this unimaginable barbarism, which speaks volumes of their patriotism, grit, determination, tenacity and valour - something a

Mr.kishore, its very nice to see ur patriotism, but here the matter is different.Do i need to remind u of the various instances where many UK's leading clothing's company depicted pics of hindu godesses on the innerwear. It had drawn protest from the hindu's all over the world. This act was condemned coz it was considered as blasphemy. Now at that time when hindu godesses were being presented in a bad light, how many of hindus were thinking about the indian army??? At that time, how many ppl were concerned abt the army?? Didnt that blasphemous act drawn protests from hindus around the world?? When M.F hussain painted offensive paintings of godess durga, what were u thinking at that time? Indian army or abt how to condemn the blasphemy? Blasphemy is an act which is intolerable in any religion...The best seller book The da vinci code drawn protests from all the christian community...why? coz they considered it as a blasphemy. At that time which christian was concerned abt the army??? Do i need to remind of a recent incident where the saccha sauda cheif was condemned by all the sikhs around the world...the reason being that he did a blasphemous act.At that time which sikh was concerned abt army??? These incidents drawn many protests,so it does'nt make the christians, sikhs, hindu's any less patriotic and any less indian. Here the question is abt ur faith and no one would tolerate a blasphemous act irrespective of any religion...R u trying to prove that the indian christians, indian hi

Mr.kishore...plz tell me which hindu was protesting against terrorism when many UK's clothing brand depicted pics of hindu godesses on their clothes? At that time the main concern of all the hindus was to condemn this blasphemy act.No one was discussing world peace or terrorism, the only thing on their minds was to condemn this blasphemous act.Do u think the hindu's who protested were fools? The hindus protested against this coz their religion was presented in a bad taste and in an unacceptable manner.Dont show off urself as u r only person in the world left who is concerned abt the world peace...Faith is dear and important to every person be it hindu, muslim, sikh and christian...when they condemn a blasphemous act r they less indian and less patriotic than u r?

Oh really!!! Who was crying when the hindu godesses were depicted on the innerwear manufatcured by a UK company? So Would u like it if that brand was honoured with an award?? Would u be clapping ur hands in happiness or will u make ur mind to condemn this act? Would u feel happy seeing that a company which presented hinuism in a bad taste was being awarded?? Who were crying when M.F hussain painted offensive paintaings of godess durga?? Who were crying when a leading Uk company depicted the hindu godesses on their toilet seats??? Would u feel happy if that product was given a award like Innovation of the yr? Wont u get angry when some1 is presenting ur religion in a bad taste and in an unacceptable manner? or would u just think to let it go? They r many many incidents,my dear frnd.Learn to respect other's religion. It shows how good human being u r...
The routine strikes and offences in the name of Islam is fast increasing in Kashmir Valley and this should immediately be stubbed lest this will escalate into a civilian war and put our Indian Army to shame and encourage the terrorist outfits to build bases. The Army should now fiercely counter strike and eliminate all jihadi and jihadi-like suspects or I fear the people of India may have to take this into their own hands and cleanse the system of this filth. Though there will definitely be some civilian losses, it is an unfortunate causation of any movement.
