I am still not aware India's might in Air force though we have able fighter pilots. I think we need to buy more advanced fighters(from Russia/france) in parallel with developing indigeneous fighters to prepare for any unprecedented events from our good neighbours. We still have our ageing Mig's which should be replaced with Russian Mig's completely rather than mainaining old ones.

Apafrt from this we do have indigeneously developed LCA(Light combat aircraft) And ALH(advanced light helicopter)which the latter one is of extremely useful in Terrains and unfriendly weathers.

We also have Jaguar and Mirage in our Air Force. But in war, victory matters,upgraded technology certainly having an edge over the rival.
-no electricity in karachi for 12 - 16 hours a day.... -economy not doing very well since last many years.. -young generation has not much opportunities... -many pakistanis live below 1$ a day earnings... -many do not have food to eat -many do not have clothes to eat.... -the islamic extremists are spoiling the image of pakistan...
....and pakistan wants to spend millions of dollars in buying 36 F-16....
what will it be used for ....will it be used for in the future...or is it going to become obsolute after few years....

They will fire up all the F-16s (pilots - Al Qaida's Trained activists) to America....................
Hey this time F-16 will strike to the newly built World Trade Center or may be WhiteHouse. So, America has axed its own foot. Because Pakistanis aren't having any security measures regarding the F-16 Security and Osama will now have an opportunity to seiz the F-16s as many as he wants. And may be in the future if America shows the sign of disagreement with Pak then Pak will have one word that we're now having F-16s and be aware of us otherwise we'll supply them to Osama and after that you know what will happen.
India will not be affected by the same because MMS(Mr. Manmohan Singh) is very peaceful and unlike Bush. So we'rnt worrying about the same and also we're having support from Russia as the more expert set of advanced figthers as compared to F-16s is coming to India in the near future.
So worst of luck America and best of luck Pak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We do have Sukhoi-30 MKI's which are much much better than F16's..........
The US very well knows that Pak is seriously developing nuclear arsenal inspite if they deliver the F16s it only shows that the US doesnt care about peace but only wants to sell it products and create problems and finally they will test their own new weapons by attacking the same country in the name of anti terrorism

Right. But we fail to understand US greed. The weapon manu lobby goes on pressurising sell of weapons. Wars are reqd to use them (replace them). Its a mockery. India and Pakistan are engrossed in false egos, and US is playing at their cost; human as well as financial.
We should also buy such destructive arms since we are surrounded by our so called good neighbours\\\ viz China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Tamil Cheetas, Maowadi Nepal
