Its time we start comparing ourselves with the Pakis.Its no use bloating over our superiority over the Pak.There's one more hostile neighbour, not too much in public imagination,the Chinese who are backstabbers.We should make Chinese our benchmark and aspire to be global power.If our benchmark are Chinese then we don't need to worry much about pak.
Pakisatn is being raised by US for its own cause.Pak ll be working as apuppet under US so that US can counter anti terrorist activities........another IRAQ and Afghanisatn is in making
Gentleman looks like many here are having heart attack, F16 Block 52 are NOTHING infront of Sukhoi 30 MKI which we have 240 NUMBERS , the MKI means (Made kommensaurate India), IT is a joint project between India and Russia, DRDO made all the mission computers, Radar data processors, Rear Warning radar system, Communication suite, cockpit , tactical datalinks of it!! It is the best Su 30 even on par with Eurofighter Typhoon, that is why the MK "I" .
We are even exporting mission computer of Su30 to Malaysia and Algerian Su 30's but those are Su 30 MKM version not so advanced.
We have exclusive radar frequency rights which are determined by the radar data processors, the radar N011M BARS is contrrolled by Indian DSP and data processors which controls the kinematic dynamic range zones of the weapon launch sequences to the look up/look down modes of the TWT's, thus other jets equipped with BARS and Su 30 of Malaysia etc would be on Indian opinion which radar frequency to give them , which can be tied with the radar data processor by preprogramming it.
We have upgraded Mirage 2005, upgraded Mig 29 to Mig 29 SMt standards, LCA which is superior to F16 Block 52, WHAT THE HELL CAN PAKIS DO TO US?
by 2012 our force would look like this,
240 - Su 30 MKI 66 Mirage 2005 upgrade from normal Mirage 2k 70 Mig 29 SMT upgtrade from normal Mig 29 120 LCA Jaguar Darin II upgrade from Jaguar normal. Mig 27 ML
Allupgrades done by HAL,pakis can do Shit with 18 F16 blk 5

Nice bit of information.Russians are the best in terms of airframes while Americans are ahead in avionics.Indians use their own custom made avionics and also has a coolaboration with Israelis.Russian airframes,Israeli avionics make a deadly combination.

i am not sure about sUkhoi better than F-16.but i agree with you that F-16 supplied to pakis are not at par with those US supplying to israel and soon will be suppllying to india
I believe the only country who can trust pak or vice versa is US for its own reasons. No doubt these birds are flawless and having them in your fleet would definately form a formidable combination. Few facts before we think that it can harm us any way: 1) Sukhoi 30 MKI, and MIG35 is something India has in its arm which is equal to these birds. 2) Even pak purchases all these, it will have to depend fully on US for support and maintenence, for which Pak already cries.
And in todays AGE Pak would not like to attack on India in any case rather would try to intimidate us.
India should get closer to Israel like the past BJP Govt. Israel is well advanced in technology and they know how to handle Pak brothers. To win a war without much loses we need good air force and a anti air/missile defense system.

The F-16s are still by far way superior to anything the Russians are producing even today. Imagine India's obsolete MiG-21s 'flying-coffins' coming up against them - no competition - not even the MiG-29s or Su-30s can match the F-16's superior prowess. As for Pak 'buying' these planes - heck, they are free - it's no mere coincidence that Pak was recently awarded another $1.5 billion in aid on top of the already considerable aid she's getting from NATO nations for her great 'efforts' in the 'war-on-terror'. Yessir, who says crime doesn't pay.

Vijay Mallya will fire up his upcoming A-380 on the base where there r F-16s preserved and I think only one A-380 is enough for all the F-16s.
