Bhairon Singh Shekhawat will be better choice if Kalam denies to contest.

As Mr Kalam wants to wait and watch on the reaction from all parties, we are not sure whether he would contest.

Bhairon Singh Shekhawat has already told that he will not contest if Mr Kalam agrees to contest.

On the other hand Mrs Patil is visiting all the leaders for support (Have any of the previous President nominee have visited political leaders for support???)

I think Mrs Swaraj is correct when she said that Bhairon Singh Shekhawat is a good statesman as he is ready to withdraw his candidature for Mr Kalam.

So, in case if Mr Kalam denies, it would be better to choose Bhairon Singh Shekhawat than Mrs Patil as he has shown his statesmanship and maturity for The President's post. I am sure Congress will never support Bhairon Singh Shekhawat. But, UPA allies can rethink on their support between Bhairon Singh Shekhawat and Mrs Patil.

One chemcha as PM is not enough. We need two. Even the President needs to be Sonia's chemcha.. May be call them spoon and fork :)

Yes, had there been any friendly person in the office in 2004, Sonia Gandhi would have become PM. She is opening the doors for and after 2009 general elections.
