Mr. John Jacob, the Christian organisations were in the forefront to oppose a legislation brought forward to control foreign contributions. Do you remember that episode? Why are you crying hoarse now? Are all fundings for Christian organisations above board?

Tinda...I know that you are quoting some Prof...first you should know that Hindus generally cremate not bury...so you cant find any tombs...then Brahma age is supposed to end at end of kaliyug ...but you seem to have killed him after Dwaraka was submerged...Funny Tinda

The Bhagwatam says, %u201CBrahma%u2019s one day equals to 1,000 cycles of the four yugas (one cycle of four yugas is 4.32 million years). It is called one kalp. There are fourteen Manus in one kalp. For the same length of time there is the night of Brahma. This is called pralaya or kalp pralaya. At that time the earth planet and the sun along with three celestial abodes (bhu, bhuv and swah) enter into the transition period (and become uninhabited). During that period Brahma holds within himself all the beings of the material and the celestial worlds in a suspended state and sleeps. (The next day he again produces them and re-forms them as they were before.) In this way Brahma lives for two parardh (twice of 50 years). After that, there is a complete dissolution of the brahmand (the planetary system and its celestial abodes). This is called prakrit pralaya of the brahmand.%u201D (Bhag. 12/4/2 to 6)

They were forced to bury dead bodies in Israel because it is a desert and there are no trees. What else could they do? Where do they get the wood from? Customs changed in response to the climate and topography. But in Israel, the Hindu roots of ancient Jews is a serious topic of research.

What are you babbling about? This guy is a respected Jewish professor of History. It has been proved that Aryan invasion theory is false and it is actually Indians who migrated to west and gave them civilisation.
British Druids were the Brahmins of Celtic society and were considered descendents of Indians. (Drav -- liquid, Vid -- Knowledge). Druid means immersed in knowledge. This designatin still survives in INdia in "Dravid," the same word from where the name David is derived. Google Brahmins and Druids.

Johnny Dayal-if one is capable of believing blindly the absurdities in Ramayan/Mahabharata, then one is easily capable of believing the absurdities propogated by Commies, Christians and muslims.
Commies,Christians and muslims can be blamed but upto a point. Not beoyond that. It is the tendency to believe in harmless absurdities that has blossommed into believing more dangerous absurdities.
We must protect our mind and intellect. No muslim, christian or commy can enslave us more than our own tendencies.
We can become more glorious than we once were by sticking to Gita and Patanjali Yoga and getting the rubbish out of our systems.

The same Krsna who taught this particular yoga to Arjuna, has also told what is the importance of this yoga and which is the highest yoga (which is Maadanaakya Mahabhava Bhakti). If you believe in part of the scripture,(whether you accept or not) means that you have Absolute faith in the author of that concept. So in effect one should put more and more effort in trying to understand the remaining part of the concept which is again Absolute. Might takes several lifetimes, but keep your effort on, do not blindly rule it off just cuz you were not grown upto it. The legend is eternal, .....can you ever scratch the sky !!
This again means that one need to see beyond four walls of his bathroom, once he has understood the use of bathroom.

I will tell what i find absurd. Rama was supposed to be a god yet is supicious of sita and burns her ! In Mahabharata, the Pandavas lie, cheat and casteism, yet they are heroes, the Kauravas fight with honour, does not believe in caste system ( to quote Duryodhana "Bravery and wisdom, like the rivers have no caste") their mother, unlike Kunti, was a chaste woman, yet they are branded as evil. Does it make sense ?

Yesterday's TV news is that AIIMS(aLL iNDIA Institute of Medical Sciences)has confirmed that Yoga is effective in treating cancer.
Ramdev baba's claims have been vindicated. More research in this regard will be a boon to the masses as it will prevent people from getting sick and cure health problems at affordable cost.
Krishna , it is said, taught secrets of Yoga to Arjuna. Arjuna, in turn, taught Yoga to Maharishi Patanjali.
Patanjali developed Yoga and it asanas and pranayama. Gita and Patanjali Yoga r the greatest contributions of India and hindus to the World (apart from inventing zero). We in India need only these two things to grow and realise their potential. All this vedic rituals, chanting of vedas, learning useless scriptures, going to places of worship r not needed. All these r time waste.
Do your work as per Gita philosophy(nutshell of which I gave yesterday). Learn and practice Yoga daily. All the time released from following ritaulism and worship can be devoted to practising Yoga and get along with your business.
