Pakistan TV says. 3 indian soldiers butchered and 5 fighters achieved martyrdom.
Why does indian media treat soldiers as killed (as if they died in some drunken driving bash)
Secondly the media takes the name of soldiers and terrorists in same breath "5 terrorists 3 soldiers killed"
why cant we use the word 'martyred' for our soldiers. Dying fighting with a salay of rs 5000-6000 only to send back home. A family that is dependent on them. Kids who wait for their father to come back home. I think a soldier deserves more respect than just being reffered to as 'killed'

The number of soldiers killed in each of the encounters is something that need to be given thought. The ratio is absolutely meaningless calling ourselves one of the largest armies in the world (after China & US). The poor soldiers are ill-equipped as against the militants that are armed with sophisticated weapons and are overpowered.... It is time India enter into PoK and destroy the terror houses and be proactive and send a strong signal across the border. With the summer that just passed through, we are not sure how many militants have infiltrated into India.. The army & the Govt. of India need to take extreme precautionary measures. I wish the Defence Minister AK Antony would be holding an Indian Flag on some regained territory rather than a hard dash of Rum / Whisky in the next picture I see him in the newspapers.

Good suggestion but unfortunately doesnt go well with the modern phase of society.
My heartfelt tribute to the soldiers and their bereaved families. And condemn the parents of the killed terrorists why they gave birth to such animals.
Suggest Rediff to setup a fund in which money can be contributed by the readers and which would DIRECTLY go to the families of such patriotic soldiers.
give some @&*&ing respect to the heroes. Where were they from? Indians treat soldiers on same terms as terrorists. 3 terrorists killed , 3 soldiers killed. while it should be 3 terrorists killed , 3 jawans sacrificed their lives. No wonder this contry,India, keeps losing territory to China and Pakistan. They have no respect for our own soldiers.
it is my request to all news maker to give some respect to the soldiers who sacrifice their life for country's cause.definitely 5 terrorists are killed but those three soldiers sacrificed themselves & never use words such as killed for those real life heroes.

they should also give the names and more information of the jawans who sacrificed their lives.
