RE:Hindu or Non-Hindu

Shocking.... absolutely shocking! In this day and age... we're still talking about Caste and the like.... India will never prosper at this rate... NEVER EVER!
From whatever we have read and heard about life of Shree Krishna, there is hardly any incedent wherein he considers people of other caste and creeds as untouchable. He was freindly and easy going type. He mixed around freely with people of all caste. Unfortunately Chritanity and other religion were not there during his period. Had those religion existed I doubt he would have ever kept himself away from the followers of those religion. I wonder how the preists of Gurvayoor Temple have got the notion that purification rites will have be performed when any non Hindu happens to enter the temple.

Nicely said shyam..but this ritual is made in accordance to the sciptures / sastras to ensure that you elivate to higher rituals rather than doing the same for years together. Many a times the priests have fallen to a very low mind set and forgotten the actual god realisation (Sadhana). If you see now the priest must be staying in a big bangalow and the estwhile king is staying in rented house..what a change in the lord's world...
