Dear John Jacob-U r living 100-200 years behind. Come in the present buddy. Today Brahmins do not claim any such superiority over non-Brahmins or minorities. That is the case to day. In fact, Brahmins have voted for Mayawati in UP.

For the record, Brahmins have already won two Nobel Prizes in sciences(Sir CV Raman and Dr. Subrahmanyam Chandrashekhar). Ramanujam is a world-renowned mathematician. I am not saying this to assert Brahmin superiority but just for your record. How many Christians from India have won science Nobel Prizes? With your "man made out of clay" and "earth is flat" theories, no Nobels can be won.

Brahmins have evolved over the last 100 years. But u christians still continue "eating the body of Jesus and drinking the blood of Jesus." Shame on u savages.

Nobody is inviting anybody or forcing anybody to come. They are coming voluntarily. What you asked was a rhetorical and stupid question? (atleast the last one). And there are samples of many questions one can ask of other faiths, the way you asked the first 2 (just scroll through the blog).

Why this descrimination against Hindus?
by Rajan P on Jun 13, 2007 03:57 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

While everyone is on each others toes discussing about changing Temple rules.allowing Christians,Muslims and Jews to enter Hindu temples, why is nobody saying anything about BANNING RELIGIOUS CONVERSIONS,MAINLY AIMED AT CONVERTING AS MANY HINDUS AS POSSIBLE BY CHURCH ETC,GRABBING TEMPLE LANDS AS WAS HAPPENING IN TIRUPATI??When there is a problem with Hindus, everyone jumps in to change its rules, rituals, why noone wants to ask for Common Civil Code in India while the secularist of secular UPA is in power??
Stop the missionary work of Christians in India including brainwashing and converting Hindus.Fight the ways of minorities to buy up land from Hindus and make them weak.

The Guruvayur Tragedy - !
by bhatta R on Jun 13, 2007 02:56 AM  Permalink

I wish that the entire discussion 'on the happenings' in the Guruvayur temple matter is discussed or said in a more decent manner and not converted into a slanging match between two or more communities.
I also wish that the Editor moderates the write ups on the aftermaths so that this rediffmail column becomes a forum for more responsible exchange of views.
If you read prem paniker's interview and the Zamorin's response, do you not see his serene views on the richness of Hinduism...!!!! Let us keep this forum a little more clean keeping in view that such people (as the Zamorin) may be reading these columns..

Before starting a new thread, let us discuss what are we arguing about. If this thread is about anti-Hinduims, anti-Brahminish then there is no point for me being here. I dont have to prove a point that my not eating meat, not drinking, not gambling, not havbing sex outside marriage, I am "holier than thou".

If this argument is about how Vedas must be adhered to without questioning then I shall be glad to continue.

So what is it that we are arguing about?

SONIA THE RANI
by srini srini on Jun 12, 2007 10:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The reason why Mayavati is forced to support a UPA/CONgress candidate is because..she is
caught in the TAJ case and if she does not listen to SONIA...she will be prosecuted..now
look Sonia has stopped her prosecution by instructing the Governer to stop the CBI...

Poor Sibu Soren...had he won the elction in Jharkhand..he
would be a central minister..SONIA would have saved him also...

This shows how much SONIA controls the indian politics..
