Uncle Sam is the one started all this. Bin Laden, Taliban are its creations. It is a joke US, a p*mp, couldn't hole out Bin Laden, a Ba*st*rd even 6 years after 2001. There seems to be big hidden conspiracy behind all this. Whatever it is, it's goal is to spread Islam everywhere and to kill anyone who is a ka*ir.
My hunch: India will come out a winner after the arabs and west destroy each other. Only thing to do is this. Our govt should have people who have a do-good philosophy in life. Get a solution for kashmir. cut ties with pakistan. never poke into their affairs. They are people demonised by Islam. They just want to kill ka*irs (according to Quran). You can never do a rational discussion with them
But realisitcally India has the worst geographic location. Pakistan, bangaldesh, indonesia, malaysia, thailand, middle-east all Islamic. But China and India should have good relations.
By god's will, India will survive. People of India have empathy incl. some muslims(mostly middle class) because we are multi-ethnic.

Yes, the Islamic militants have crazy notions about who is Kafir. Time to end posting with these lines. ................ kafir hindu nahin sirf vah musalmaan hai jo insaaf ki dagar to chor apni jannat kay liyay banay nafarat kay paigaam hain
Guys, Mush is going to be overthrown some day and a radical Islamic regime will take over. That will be the precise moment when our enemy of 4 generations will be destroyed by American cruise missiles. Here is a question: Should we allow this to happen? In other words, should Indians not have the first right to destroy Pakistan: why give Americans the chance?

If any external power attacks Pakistan, it is more likely than not that the whole spectrum of Indian political arraignment will seek all means feasible to defend Pakistan. The need is to eliminate terrorism emanating from Pakistan, and not Pakistan itself nor Pakistaniyat.

Others may do 'istaymaal' of Pakistan, right from the days of founding of two nations, from the days of Gandhiji to ABV's clarion call for 'Strong and Prosperous Pakistan', all shades of political opinion from Right or Left have exhibited no antipathy for Pakistan.
Pakistan is screwed anyway... the Americans will get rid of them sooner or later... all terror plot investigations by the CIA and FBI have led to oONE universal conclusion:
WHEN IT COMES TO TERRORISM, ALL ROADS LEAD TO PAKISTAN
let us all contribute and cooperate with America in the fight against Islam.
Prez Musharraf has undoubtedly turned Pakistan around. He began his tenure under a very difficult post N test and post-Kargil phase. Was able to make peace with India, strategize the 9/11 turnaround, attenuate terrorism and decimate the Shia-Sunni internal strife. He also instituted largely free press and permitted impressive growth of TV channels. The economic growth has been quite good and its economy is back on rail.
Let us not forget that Pakistan has become the most powerful Islamic nation, its power projection capability probably more than twice that of the next Islamic nation. Of late, there have been serious mistakes in transition to democracy, but such a transition is never easy. Kashmir and other issues are for democratic Pakistan to decide. Prez. Musharraf clearly has the sagacity to know that. If he is able to effect a legal and largely peaceful transfer of power via a free and fair election it would be a crowning glory in his spectacular life.
Though he is our enemy, and calls us as one, let us wish him success in avoiding any accidental or foolish catastrophe between India and Pakistan.

Democracy in Pakistan would be the first major victory in the fight against Islamic terrorism. Iraq has got bogged down and Afganistan remains in doldrums. Pakistan, on the basis of its 'internal ability', has a good chance of effecting a change. This may or may not happen, but one can surely wish that it would!

Pakistan's subsidised military had taken recourse to religion to dispense power. This had an unfortunate consequence of making its largely secular and modernistic Army considerably Islamic. The 'Mullah Generals' have become lot more common. It is difficult to ascertain whether democracy would be able to arrest this phenomenon or it will go the Iranian way. Any delay may further accentuate the crisis. In this backdrop to create an ethos for free and fair elecuions when the power equations may be loaded in favour of Islamist is not easy. India with its impressive credentials finds it difficult to acquire strategic legtimiacy, for Pakistan the road ahead is no less easier. A democracy which would give primacy to develeopmental agenda is not easy to inculcate. The old Congress style 'Garibi Hatao' or Bhutto's 'Roti Kapada Makaan' sloganeering politics may be on ascendency. This political farce would however be preferable over any Islamic jingoism.

Islamist radicals have probably NEVER won more than 5% vote in any election. The common populace in Pakistan, one can safely expect hankers for economic prosperity and modernity values as do most Indians. They would consistently vote for it, even when proferred just a promise of it, even if it be merely a mirage!

You are mostly right man! Pakistan is the fountainhead of terrorism and nothing could be better than having a man of some sense in power in Pakistan (I am not saying Mush is a wise guy, but he is the only dictator in the Islamic world who can claim to have some sanity, what with ayatollahs and hezbollahs dominating the landscape!) As and when Mush is overthrown by yet another coup (come on, that is what happens to all dictators except Jyoti Basu) the new admisnitration will obviously start out with a radical anti-America and pro terror policy.. That is the precise moment when our enemy of 4 generations will be destroyed by American cruise missiles.
India could have solved the Kashmir problem by letting Indians who wanted to, move into Kashmir from the beginning. Obviously this is no longer an option. So other than the status quo somebody has to back down. India should negotiate certain regions of Kashmir to go to Pakistan. In exchange Pakistan would have to withdraw any claims on the remainder. Anyone who stays in the Indian sections should be given the opportunity to go to Pakistan if they want. The beauty of this solution is Pakistan will implode as soon as Kashmir is solved because there will be nothing left to unify them. This will speed up the process of Pakistan breaking into four countries.
