I don't think so...fighting with orkut will make it visible to IT guys....but the thing is IT voters is 1 or 2% of all and its total stupidity to target them.
It is not only Orkut.com ... Check the rediff.com --> Cauvery Row , Sivaji , Rajkumars Death ... etc If you have time go through the complete discussion board which will help you what to ban? . Hello redif moderator ... Dont happy on Orkut ban ... Time is not too far away for rediff to ban ..

I understand if people talk nonsense against religion..In a country like India where religion holds it's head higher than poverty and corruption, such blogs can spread violence..But if people post comments against Shiv Sena that should not be objectionable by any means..it is a democratic framework and people can support a specific party and raise their voice against some other party.I personally feel that these Sainiks are none better than the Nazis we had in germany..

I appreciate the move made by police to request Google to prevent objectionable materials from screening. Orkut is a community of friends and one should not add something objectionable to demean it. And I hope the Shiv-Sainiks cool down and not attack the innocent cyber-owners becoz they are not at fault please they are just running cyber cafes and not google or orkut, I hope they understand this simple logic and not restore to hooliganism every now or then and not defame the greta leader Shivaji.

Hi Moumita, u can hold just a water in palm, can't hold whole oceans..billions..trillions of website show vulgar things..no one can stop it..y to bother abt others act.
Common guys whats the matter if some one is expressing his thought its not a crime but it is our fundamental right .yes i do belive that some people takes disadvantage but its not fair to punish thousands of people for just a one person.we can urge google to block the paricular community rather then blocking the whole website .google is a international firm with bussines all over the world they understand there resposiblity .and right now when india is busy to woo investor from all over the world these types of controversie will creat a bad impreation

I guess they sacred that Indian Culture is so vulnerable that it would be lost in a day. Guys if you so insecure about your culture it would be a nice idea to do something that would keep the culture alive in our minds rather than showing aggression and spreading hate. Do something that keeps our culture intact in the youngsters minds (Spend your time thinking on this, not easy to achieve).
Do not always do things that give the entire world an impression that all the Indians are an uneducated and uncivilized lot inspite of we making huge progress in many fields. All you currently doing is pushing Brand India back a few 100 years back .
Your intentions are questionable and let us know what your organisation has acheived so far other than terrorizing innocent people and win petty fights ? This is a new form of home grown terrorist outfit.
