Do Shiv Sena think internet is a bombay side street?
That their wits would sell. Internet is a pillor of free speech and freedom. Morons from bombay should attend school to first learn this and then enter their noses into the web. I can challenge that the American star company will not give a damn for these scoundrels.
Undeniable Facts: whrere there is people... there is politics. where there is politics.... there is policy involved. This is to bring and keep an Order.
and there can easily be a policy of BANNING something which is against people and the Order.
and in todays Mobocracy and socalled-freedom... there is much more requirement of such policies to keep Order.

Who ever said democracy was the panacea for all ills in society is a moron. Adolf Hitler the greatest madman responsible for the largest number of deaths in history (52 million in WWII) was democratically elected in 1933 in Germany. Democracy may be suitable in some countries, but not in others.

Democracy is "the People" in total....when a Politician offers promises to the ENTIRE population, its democracy....as happens in USA & European elections.
When the Politicians offers promisies to certain SECTIONS of the people eg. religion, ethnic, langauage groups etc, then its NO longer democracy....as happens in Indian elections.
There is larger issue involved here than hating Shiv Sena for Orkut issue
Most of the members on this messageboards are North and South Indians and only they are writing against Shiv Sena
Marathis are not writing against Shiv Sena
This shows the great rift between Marathis and North South Indians and real reason for criticising Shiv Sena is not orkut but harted feelings created by North and South Indians

I know yr religion, why are you trying to divide Hindu on Nort & South basis. Your statements means that all Marathi vote Shiv Sena, if this was the truth then COngress whould not have been in government in Maharastra, whereas I belong from UP then also respect Bal Thakrey.

I agree with you Ponga. North/South Indians treat the locals as if the locals are only fit for menial jobs. Look at the number of ads and serials who show the rich North/South Indians and locals as domestic helps/bais.
the more than 100 year old cult of shivaji is threatened by a few year old baby called orkut. am loving it:-) why doesnt SS try to ban internet sites in non BJP ruled states... or do they believe that Orkut it like some silly BEST, which will stop working when there is bandh?

thanks. will work on improving my current affairs knowledge. meanwhile the brave SS can focus on 1. beating up vendors selling heart shaped balloons on valentine day 2. shutting down internet shops, ice-cream parlours, greeting card shops 3. lashing out at coconut sellers from south india since they are from outside 4. thrashing unemployed youth who come to mumbai to write entrance examinations.

People talk of Religion like they have masters in that. Laden or Bal Thakery who seem to be more religious because they preach hate...Is this religion ......I heared that it taught love and respect.

Agreed ! But one thing that seperates Siva Sena from these other groups is Siva Sena ideology is on Patriotism and their emphasis is on India, not for the interests of some selected groups. In fact they are not against the Muslims too, it is Muslims who think that Siva Sena is agains them. And talking about Police, we all know how well they work to control big crimes

its gud that shiv sena speaks up 4 hindu nd indian rights.. but dnt u think it will b better if shiv sena utilise there stringth 4 other major prblms like corruption nd unemployment?? instead of creating nuisance anywhere..
Every one here is crying for democracy and freedom of expression. What if I come out in front of ur house and give bad words to your family... its my freedom of expression... but wht abt??? uwd u feel good?? Though i might be against u on some issues that does not mean that i can go to any level....
There has to be some line drawn... if you are agaisnt a ideology... fine.. you create your group.. OK.. but then falling below certain levels and using bad words is not acceptab;e. Similarly its also wrong on SS part to go against the cybercafes.. they should have gone to the police first..
Freedom of expression is fine.. but cant it be used for better efforts than this??? Cant we have communities which can think together and against something like terrorism/al qaeda???
