If the Mumbai Police succeeds in banning ORKUT ... they will be compelled to ask for a ban of my website, developed over a 2 year period in honour of the Mumbai Police.
So I am confident, not wanting to get my website banned, the Mumbai Police will not pursue the ban of ORKUT.

the site shud not ban and our NETAGAN should utilise their energy for the people of india for getting ther basic need which they are not getting they shoul work on the following Politician makes this India hell.
I don%u2019t understand why this politician cannot think about other people
Every Indian is facing problem because of this politician
Why are we are not getting basic facilities
These politicians are the dolls in the hands of people who offer them money
If you see in Mumbai entire Mumbai is having illegal construction on the Road which narrows the road and blocks the traffic
Why they are not taking action against them
Why there is not any law for parking
Why the vendors are allow to sell on the road and footpaths
why the quality of food in the hotel are not up the mark or hygienic by paying so much high amount
Why roadside food vendors are allowed
This food is of bad quality
thanks to the resistance power of Indian otherwise we would have only 1% population as of today
why brokers in Mumbai are doing dadagiri and taking hard earn money as a brokerage every year
why government is not doing anything to this
why these people increase the railway track which is basic need of Mumbai people
why our government is klacking to provide the basic need?

These politician are having time to ban certain things to ban this to ban that ban foreign culture ban dan
lazy people will do nothing. to stop or destroy something is easy. creativity is challenging task. Orkut unites the people around the globe in such an immense frequency.for everything there is ve & -ve. defenitly i cant any solid reason for banning orkut.
Before joining sites like orkut, all of us are very well aware that we are ourselves putting out our personal information/phone numbers/photographs on the site. No offence to those who have already been harmed by it, but before we put our snaps etc on orkut, we are fully aware that everyone who has access to the net have access to our info. We cannot control who visits our profiles and who dont. Orkut has given us a platform... We need to use it/not use it per our judgement... Accept it or not, there will always be dirty-minds around... We need to control how much info we want to divulge... Today there is ORKUT, tomorrow there will be another site. Its US who need to careful about it.
If political parties like Shiv Sena and Politicians like their leaders cant do any thing, they sit on net, look for orkut profiles. Better they should look for other agenda's like poverty, education, help old and sick peoples. I never heard that ever Shiv sena have done such work. Yes, they have lot of time to visit archies shop (no idea why???) to break the glasses. Sure, such work doesnt bring cheap publicity, for which we all got used to...

Hi frnds ..I think Orkut should be banned for its current functionality..It required some changes in its architecture and functionality..like scraps should be not visible to others...testi is ok as it tells abt the person...personal contact details options should not be der....I am not saying tht it would stop the crime thru but it will take down to low level....If orkut will change their some functionalities thn it could be allowed as its a good medium to be in touch wid frns and close one....otherwise I think Current acrh shld be banned...
Kut should not be banded. It is against of media freedom. I don%u2019t know why gov. banded. If young are going to bed way, then there are many such sites, which is pushing them to black way. It thing it not well. Some benefits also there, we can know many people from one desk.
Guys...a problem is to be dealt right from its roots. And the presence of Orkut can be felt as long as the WWW is accessible via Internet. C'mon...lets all start a petition saying we want the internet to be banned. This is absolutely intriguing stuff. I mean, can't they find a better way than banning it? People who come up with such ideas are a bunch of doddering old fools...(sry...but i couldn't put it nicer than this)
