It is so simple. If there is anything bad on Shivaji or anybody you write good things. Who are we or anybody to evade or destroy. I believe Orkut will have more number of hits and interactive by more number of users in short future. This is nonsense. No one can stop like the way some group have reacted recently.
only people who are ur friends... accepted by u can c ur profile... and messages can be read between the receiver and the sender only (private option in facebook)

also rediff should use this oppurtunity to make its Rediff Connextions like a private orkut... wid phone verification on sign up (like ebay) and only friends seeing each others profile... and receiver and sender only receiveing messages and comments /scras

there should be no group thingy in rediff connextion too... only friends between friends... everything will be cool then... security issues etc... we indians always no how to mess with technology... mobile phones...internet... we have to be told/restricted sometimes

naaaa r u kidding?? tell these shiv sainiks to take care of mumbai city 1st. they are in the mumbai municipality as a major party. wot hv they done for mumbai's infrastructure for the past more than 5 years. such irresponsible behaviour is not acceptable.
Arent only the Orkut communities creating all these problems? Why not ban communities straightaway or make communities untalking i.e, just create a community to bind together long lost friends but no forums. A member should be able to scrap all the team mates in one go. and these scrap books should be made private: Username/password required to access. Of course, this is possible only with the help of Orkut site developers. Anyway we cannot allow antisocial elements scraping any nonsense and putting that to public view. That can jeopardise national security. I am not a big fan of Orkut myself, but like going through communities esp. hate communities just for the love of reading it. There are so many people of my same like I know, so keeping a clause of reader discretion is not a very good remedy. We like doing things we know may be hurtful - at least to make sure if it is hurtful or not. Having said that, what Rediff does is also just that or even worse. In orkut, you have to create a profile to post something. Here we just need to have an ID: then post any types of non-sense. Regionalistic, religionistic, nepotistic and socialistic comments - even plain verbal abuses are not alien in Rediff too.

If it;s not such a crime to ban shiv sena or him why orkut? Dont we have freedom of speech? for 20 years leftists called rajiv gandhi as \'chor\' but now they r controlling indian govt. led by INC.so nothing matters to us when political parties raise an issue.
this is nothing but politics and doing acts to attract media.
orkut has helped me connect with my long-lost friends frm school n college. banning orkut wud only giv rise to othr community websites. why cant orkut quietly monitor posts and scraps and handle the matter discreetly ? why make an issue out of it ?
