What the hell is happening in India ?? Why to ban orkut....its insane & weired...india is a democrartic..we have rights to speak, rights to express our thoughts.....if the govt bans orkut..then later google, gmail;.at last no internet facility for india.. Govt should not act for a few shiv shena members..they should think in a long term plan.. The 23 % of users in Orkut are Indians..So Plzzz dont do this
Why to ban Orkut? It's such a good way of socializing with people and friends. We should think of banning such groups who create rampage in cities.. Who have given them right to go and break any public/ private property. this is totally illegal and irresponsible and should be handled in proper way
a person from god knows where posts a derogatory remark on a website & these dumb-asses attack random cyber-cafes ??!! and if thats not enough, the government actually thinks about banning the site ! what could be more ridiculous & disgusting than this ? why dont the shiv-sainiks try cleaning the city if they dont have anything else to do ?
but why just orkut.....people can open their website and write what they like......so ban internet altogather......or people may print some remarks which will hurt certain communities......so ban newspapers.......let's just close our doors and windows so that we r totally isolated from the world.....in that way no one will hurt our beliefs and feelings......
Why has the question cropped up? coz sum shiv sainiks attack cyber cafes due to offensive material on orkut hate communities! First, why cyber cafes in mumbai? These communities can be growing with members from anywhere in the world, the slander appearing on it can be written by someone in NY, sitting in his apartment. So, first, the sainiks shud go there and thrash this guy, how dare he? Or, shiv sena shud include some educated sainiks in their ranks (rather than having preposterous illiterates with criminal psyches) to explain to them how the web works! And because of such a stupid outburst by a bunch of dumbers the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team in New Delhi is deliberating on whether to ban orkut - i have just one word for this state of events - YIKES! Is this even a matter 2 b discussed on a mb?!?! Height of the Ridiculous
No orkut shoukd not be banned because it is the only option to get old friends details what they are doing if we get 1 friend details by him we can get all the friends details.their 1 example with me that is myself i got my school friends details by orkut so i kindly request to not to banned the orkut mails
We live in a democracy.. this is not 18th century russia or 19th century china,, where you can control evyerhting.. so what.. someone made a derogatory remark coz they felt that way.. You cant behave like fanatics and attack cyber cafes..I really think that shiv sena and any such body should stop taking itself so seriously and realise that by banning sites like myspce, orkut an ryze in no way will stp ppl from pexpressing their views.. what.. next will they ban TOI? or will they ban all blogs... theres always a way for those who are determined.. so become someone ppl like or be maligned. banning sites is no answer
