I am a true indian by heart but I very often wonder when will we grow up, when will we be mature as a scoiety. There is a group of some follih people who are going around closing Net centres in Mumbai, earlier they were beating lovers in parks. Why can we allow freedom of thought. If I dont like something its my feeling and if I do like it thats again my choice. Why should Someone (government) tell us what to think and what not. Grow up. A group of people who dont agree with the society have have full right to express what they fell AND NO ONE - NO ONE SHOULD BE GIVEN RIGHT TO SIPRESS THEM..........
All this orkut Banning demand is profounded by the people who failed in making friends through Orkut and even bigger failure in thier lives also. They didnt even have the courage to speak to girls, so how can they tolrate that their peers and friends r having so many girlfriends thru orkut.. I found almost 30 odd classmates thanks to Orkut... If they want Ban the orkut then they should first ban the INTERNET itself...
they dont have any work to do.... Maharshtra's dance bars also have closed.... So they need some work poor shivsaniks..... This is my challange that they cant ban that website..... They are doing timepass by hitting peoples (their hobby), nothing else

Is your head is at right position??? The people like you are not respecting(That reflects what your parents teach you) the idols like Shivaji and many more thats why we are not a nation with pride?? Look at other nations they proud of their history hence they are on top. Tumhare jaisi gandagi yahase pahle saphaa ho jaye to achha hai..

As a social networking site..it is very helpful in keeping in touch with old friends...millions of youth will justify that...and I never understood this philosophy of banning something because of a certain miniscule percent miususe it..what about the rest?

Hey you fool if you say orkut should be banned bcoz girls n boyz r missusing it n spoiling everything then you better check up with many sites where they all have is SEX content go ahead and ban all those sites which does not have any values in it. Orkut is one good site where many around the world use to communicate with all friends.
So any FOOLS!!!!!!!! ban the sex sites first and then you speak about moral values.
If hate messages, use of vulgar language, abusive language, all this justifies banning Orkut, then the first to be banned should the Rediff forum. Nowhere else have I seen so much of hatred being spread, so much of vulgar and abusive language being used. And Rediff has a VERY poor system of monitoring. Even if you report a message for abuse, it takes several hours for it to be deleted. By that time, the damage is already done.
banned, strike is now bcome 1 type of activity in our Indian and specially of mumbaikar's life, actually this is nothing but the people who has no other work doing such activities that is it..actually i'm pure shiv sainik but not at all supporting their such attitude..Orcut is means for meeting friends whom we lost after school, after college. I m sure 90 % of the shiv sainik who are computer littereate must be using orcut not only orcut but hi5, jingo also...
