''why non-hindhus want to enter temple?'' by Kishore Babu
by Dheeraj Akula on Jun 07, 2007 12:23 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

it seems non-hindhus especially christians want to enter temples because they are ashamed to go to their religious places..because of the notorious activites happening at thier respective places. we can only pity for you. in stead of commenting on others pl reduce the anti-social activites of ur institutions. Then u feel happy to go to ur places rather than trying to go to others places.

The church and vatican are directing some christians to enter temples and create controversy to malign Hinduism. Also they want a law that will allow non-Hindus to enter Hindu temples so that missionaries can be stationed there permanently and distribute missionary literature.

They are very compassionate. They want to save all the Hindu sinners from hell.

The blood of Jesus saves only those who pray to him.

Thats no imagination,Christians have been caught propogating in Tirupati. There is rampant propogation in the university, education institutions, hospitals running on the funds from Tirupati. What do you call this? Our decency doesn't permit Hindus from resorting to similar acts.

Perfectly true!!!

Simhachalam temple in Vizag was also in the news.

The villages around Srisailam too are fully busy with Christian activity.

Go and see for yourself.

I guess you don't keep up with the evangelical bulletins regularly, do you. What a pity! Several evangelical websites in the US have called for christian evangelists to enter hindu places of worship and institutions, because they need to bring their god (the christian god) into these places of ''worship of the idols.' I wish I had noted down these website addresses, so I can pass them on to you for your pure reading pleasure. I live in the west, and I know for sure that many evangelical churches are VERY aggressive, and see the conversion of the hindus and other non-christians as a BATTLE to be won.

George Abraham - elsewhere you say you personally say you don't advocate conversions - so why don't you, as a secular christian, protest all these illegal activities of other christians and tell them to butt out of hinduism?

I am an agnostic, and I don't want people telling me what I should be or shouldn't be; so I have chosen to take sides with the hiindus and fight for them to defend their way of life and freedom. Christianity and islam have been the blight of mankind - causing more war and tragedy than all religions put together. The fundamental problem is the basic tenet of these religions - thou shall worship only Jesus/Allah and NONE else!

With that kind of mindset can one blame those for wanting to bail out of these two religions, or get rid of them from society?

Guys Stop yelling at each other
by Raghu Koteswaran on Jun 07, 2007 12:21 PM  Permalink

The above interview by the Tantri makes some sense, they have got some rules to abide and alternatively they got some procedure to follow for people who needs to workship there.

So we need to think Sensiblily to look out and act according to it.

This problems ends unless people stop yelling at each other irrespective of their religion or caste.
It ends only when every individual thinks for mankind irrespective of thier religion and caste.
No law will bring a solution unless people educate themself and the society to keep away all this problems.

Atlast all this ends only when the world ends.

Dear chakradahr : While I don't agree every muslim is a terrorist, its true politicians refuse to take action against terrorists and mulim lumpens.

THIS IS THE REASON WHY AVERAGE COMMON MEN/.WOMEB NOW SUSPECT MUSLIMS MUCH MORE THEN EVEN A DECADE BACK.

Alas, Muslims still are unable to see that psuedos are using them as votebank, and they are continuing to behave such.

No, I agree with you.

In fact Communists also say the same thing, but in Private.

I have 2-3 CPIM party members in my own family, and their view on Islamic terrorism is similar with that of Narendra Modi.

Only difference is: Modi says that in Public. They never say that in Public.

Those who are planting bombs here and there are paid goons. they have nothing to do with Islam.

You can get brahmins too doing same job, provided you pay good enough....but this will not serve the purpose of those who want to creat constant conflict in Indian society....

they find our politicians handy who announce next moment after any incident that muslims are behind this...and no body asks them from where they got this information so quickly...if they had it beforehand, why they didnt act to prevent the incident...

you are free to bye a propagandist story. but I talked the dumbest muslim mullas and smartest...they unanimously told that these blast are not allowed in Islam....

Shame on you! - Part 3
by Subrahmshu Bhattacharya on Jun 07, 2007 12:11 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

(Contd ...)

Thirdly, I feel the the priest has subtly admitted that he is weighed down by his own guilt and perhaps is rethinking all this himself. It is quite clear that he is not sure of the correctness of this philosophy in this day and age. Why else would he bring his late father and point to his father's actions as an excuse for his own? Why else would he bring his son and his brother into the whole argument? If he were sure in his beliefs and firm in his stand, he need to clutch on these straws. He must be brave enough to face the world and say that yes, I did it and I think it is right. INSTEAD - see what he said - I DONT MAKE THE LAWS ... This is a clever ploy to take the cover an impregnable source, all organised religions do this to perpetuate their power and hold on the masses just appeal to a source - which has been corrupted by centuries - but one that is no longer open to questions. I dont spare anyone here, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, Islamic and Jewish power centres all indulge in the same religious power games. Those who are educated enough to come read this in rediff, make religion your personal issue - appeal to your innerselves for the right answers - you will be heared - you will be answered. Let no organised religion corrupt you by swaying you into supporting their power games.

A devout devotee.

Shame on you! - Part 2

(contd ...)

Secondly, he brings in an ex-ISRO scientist to support his case. It is quite pathetic to see that this ISRO scientist, educated in institutions like RECs and IITs funded by Indian taxpayers, is also tied down by the tradition and its inhuman practises. What use is his education and knowledge of space and heavens if he is blind to what is happening around him and right here in our soil? The scientist should be stipped off his scientist post and his pension and other governmental payments must be stopped right forth if he is hand in glove with activities that go against the spirit of Indian constitution.

I support Shri Ravi in this crusade, for once he will find the communists - who were spineless on some of these issues in the days of EMS - will support him and he should take up this issue forward and stop all governmental support to this and such other temples and their institutions of priesthood until it opens its doors to all devotees.

Your comment that an ISRO scientist would have to be anti-religious is blatantly ignorance.

THE FIRST HIGHER SCIENTIFIC INSTITUTION IN INDIA, BASU VIGYAN MANDIR (FOUNDED BY JAGADISH CHANDRA BOSE) WAS DESIGNED BY SISTER NIVEDITA ACCORDING TO HINDU AND BUDDHIST TRADITION.

GET YOU R HEAD CHECKED FIRST, AND FIND OUT THAT VEDIC RELIGION IS NOT ANTI-SCIENCE AS XTIANITY WAS AGAINST SCIENTIFIC ENQUIRIES IN EUROPE IN THE MIDDLE AGES.

''Gandhiji on conversions'' by Lucky B
by Dheeraj Akula on Jun 07, 2007 12:08 PM  Permalink

Why Gandhiji Disbelieve in Conversion?

Gandhiji: I disbelieve in the conversion of one person by another. My effort should never to be to undermine another's faith. This implies belief in the truth of all religions and, therefore, respect for them. It implies true humility. (Young India: April 23, 1931)

Shame on you! - Part 1
by Subrahmshu Bhattacharya on Jun 07, 2007 12:07 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I am appalled by the contents of the reply given by the High Priest of Gurovayoor temple Raman Namboodiripad.

For one thing, he insists that the traditions of the temple and the rules of the temple as are laid down by Adi Sankara. In effect, this "tradition" equates the mere presence of a human being to that of (see Part 1) Vomit, Incontinence, Dogs piss and such items of material nature bringing back memories of a past where some castes were considered even beneath the level of sight and touch. I challenge the priest to produce any documentary evidence to support this. The same temple had until half a century back disallowed the so called lower castes from visiting it - Was this again laid down by Adi Sankara? I refuse to believe that Adi Sankara who said that the essence of Man and God are one and the same "Advaitha" would EVER have laid out this arbitrary rule of "Punyaaham". If this draconian classification of men into sub human beings and hence refusal for them to even visit the shrine of the almighty, have indeed been indeed laid down by Adi Sankara, then I exhort all self respecting Indians to reject it with all your might. I side with Shri Ravi when he says that this is Brahminical arrogance or its vestigial carryover from the mighty days of the old. In the guise of "laid down by Adi Sankara" can any nonsense be allowed? The heriditary system of priesthood should be questioned; its traditions are highly suspect and likely to be tainted with the unequal social syst

Is it not surprising that during 10 year Iran Iraq war, there were no Shia sunni wars.??

It all started the moment Americans arrived there.

The 2 world wars, holocaust, nuking Japan, attacking Vietnam, bombing Iraq....collateral damage...the list is endless...all this is hallmark of followers of Holy Jesus.

Christ never preached for xtianity. He called towards GOD...but PAul invented Xtianity bay making GOD 3 in 1.

Now Xtian can kill any number of people including civilian...bcoz Jesus has been crucified for Your sins...If thats the case Your sins must be awesome.

Lots of a thank to you Abdul Hamid for your nice study of christian's hippocracy. But even if you think about Islam it is not better than christians. Thay too are killing the people in name of "Jehad".

As everbody knows that christianity came in existance 2000 year back & Islam came in Existance in year 786.
But can you or anybody tell which religion they were folowing earliar. You read WAFAT in which it is clearly written that Christianity & Islam are the manifastation of medival period ( They very new ).
I want to inform you that before 2000 years all were SANATAN DHARMI ( Now days called Hindu )
You watch latested Hollywood Movies in which persons killed in war are cremeted as per Hindu rituals ( Exp. Troy & Sparta, Hector etc.)

Now days Muslims in gulf were The old Hindu warriors went o worlds different parts to win the territories as it is Duty of Khastriya to fight war.
But letter after settling in that area they gradually lost the kowledge about the Hindu religion. Then Moh. Pagmber born & taught them new Path. Allaaaa is actually Allllaayyyyyy which is name of Lord Vishnu ( Krishna& Rama) . Even Hindu do not know about This.
Read shrimad Bhagawat Canto -8 Chapter 2 & shlok 17 . There it is clearly (aadresed God Vishnu or Hari )with Alllayyy . So you are whorshiping the same Hindu GOD as you are originally Hindu War loving cast ( ie Khastriya)
The read Quran or Shrimad Bhagwat the description of God is same ...........visit www.krishna.com
