HOW ABOUT A LAW TO ENTER MECCA
by John Corniche on Jun 07, 2007 09:18 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Kerala Leaders & Leftist Media (NDTV),

How about a law to enter Mecca for all religion people ?

Indian Media knows nothing about culture & rituals/practices of other religions !!

Indian Govt should try negotiating with Saudi Govt to get entry into Mecca for other religion people.

Then they will get the taste of things. Sitting in India & barking whatever you want won't need any guts.

Try doing that ...

psedo secularism or PURE HYPOCRISY
by raj kapur on Jun 07, 2007 09:17 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Gentlemen, why expecting a charity from the hindus always. Dont you read a warning at the entrance of all great masjids in India where at a place defined for performing wazoo, there is a clear written mention that NON MUSLIMS ARE NOT PERMITTED BEYOND THIS PLACE. Can you dare asking the masjid administration to relax this rule and remove this barrier. It is high time now, every one must understand that religion, eventhough not above the law, yet it is not sub-servient to law either. How can the judiciary decide about whether to worship Lord Vighneshwar first or some other deity in his place.

Remember, judiciary is just 2 centuries old in India but Hindu religion is practised from time immemorial. So stop poking your nose into the sacred Hindu Religion.

I think the law should be "All 'public places' whether it is social or religious, everyone has the right of entry , of course on the condition we follow cirtain norms that might be set by the managing body . The conditions should not be distructive to person/s or their faith"

And equality irrespective of religion. Bramins will never admit that others are as equal to them. Where as Church and Dargas encourage others to join their prayers. When will bramins learn and improve????

Why don't you suggest the same to the Vatican or the Moslems. Even today Protestants are not allowed inside the Vatican and the whole world known how Islam as a religion discriminates women. Why don't you and the Prem Panickers of the world give GYAAN to them to open up first and then come and lecture Hindus. Get you fu...g info right first and then lecture others.

No chance women are not allowed into many dargahs. And women are not allowed to sit with men. So where is the equality. First let other religions follow an open door policy.

Hindu Temple Entry
by roopa balasubramanian on Jun 07, 2007 09:09 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The Chief Priest of Sree Guruvayur Temple is absolutely correct. First of all let us not allow Government or Ministers to interfere with the functioning of temples. They do not do that with Churches or Mosques. Why only temples. Leave them as they are. Let there be accoutability and proper audit of the temple administration entrusted to trustees without any interference from the Government. If a person of other religion wants to enter the temple let him get converted through Arya Samaj and enter the temple. Why should he enter the temple having his faith in other religion. Our politicians and Media are making hue and cry about only Hindus and Hindu temples. If we talk or write about other religions, we become communal. What a secural phenomenom followed by our useless politicians and money-making media?

Of course the priest is correct in saying Government should not interfere. But dont you think everyone has the right to enter the temple. One way people make hue and cry of conversion of Hindus to other religion and other way we are only branding "high caste Bhramins" are only proper hindus.
It is not a question of entry to one temple.
It is question of which comes first "Religion and its showoffs or Himanity "

They don't interfere in the affairs of the Churches and Durgas, becuase they don't discriminate against any one. Anyone can enter and worship over there.

Everyone knows that till some years back that the majority of the Hindu Folks were not allowed inside the Temple citing the impurity of those castes. It was because of the Govt taking over the control of the Temples the Untoucability practice is on the decline.

Earlier, there were Devadasi system prevailed inside the Temple and it was also hailed as a culture of Hinduism. By taking the Control of the Temples, Govt. had prevented the Prostitution practices inside the premises of the Temple.

The Govt. Interference was necessary becuase you were not doing good. Now there are lot of colleges set up by Devasom Boards and HR&CE ministry in Kerala & Tamilnadu respectively becuase of the Govt Control. Tell me how many colleges were started by the varous famous mutts some 40-50 years back. Whereas the Churches were concentraing in the development of education among the masses, which is not agreeable to the forward community people like us.

That is very correct. Still if you go to most temples , Brahmins are people who control the Administration. What is so special about born as a brahmin. There are as many good and bad people as in other religion. And as far as following customs like veg and other are concerned , there are many communities who follow them

SONIAJI KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
by pravin gupta on Jun 07, 2007 09:00 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

India is doing extremely good under SONIAJI. Under her leadership,
*Stock market is booming,
*foreign reserves are at an all time high, *manufacturing is booming
*internal situation is pretty good,
*No problems with neighbours,
*India is now a trillion dollar economy(only 11 other countries are in this club)
*Pakistan pretty much silent on kashmir
* Musharaff does not hope of extracting anything from Sonia led government as against vajpayi goverment

This quiet CHRISTIAN lady has done amazingly well and will surely lead India to great successes in the near future. Honestly speaking how many Indians want the likes of Mulayam, Mayawati, Laloo, Advani etc. to take the centre stage. The above idots are going put India back to the days of snake charmesr. But she should definitely refrain from becoming PM. Some people can be really lucky to india. We continue to need her presence at the top.
Good luck to SONIAJI and India.

Guptaji,

Its people like you who has made this country to slaves of one family.

To run a country you need a bunch of qualified people like our PM, FM & Planning Commission etc, etc. So, even if its successs, it should be shared by all & not only the "G" family.

Indians are used to "SLAVERY" and hence, this disease. Come out of the closet & judge things in proper perspective.

Never ever submit your mind to somebody !!
