Yes Every one should be allowed to enter in temple. BUT Are we mature people who are really maintaining our own TEMPLES? Visit Parali -Vaijanath , Titwala - Ganpati.

"May 31, 2007: A draft bill in Pakistan's National Assembly would impose the death penalty on Muslim men -- and a life sentence on Muslim women -- if they renounce Islam. The bill has received its first reading and now sits before a standing committee of the National Assembly. It has been tabled by Muttahida Majlis-e-Ammal, an alliance of six fundamentalist Islamic political parties. The proposed apostasy legislation would also allow the forfeiture of property and a loss of legal custody of children for those who renounce Islam. A section of the draft bill says the offender's own confession in court or incriminating testimony by two or more adults would be sufficient grounds for conviction."
I want to ask whether Prem Panicker wud have had the same guts to interview an imam or a christian priest. What about PARSIS who do not allow any non parsi (even those born parsis who have married outside their society)to enter their temple?
Panicker, understand that Guruvayoor temple is not compelling anyone to come to visit the shrine. But if anyone wants to visit the same, he/she has to respect and accept the age old traditions of the temple. If u dont agree with the traditions/rituals, then dont go to that temple. Nobody is forcing u to go.
Why doesnt Prem Panicker go and interview those "christian missionaries" who flush with foreign funds are converting hindusin north east and jharkhand. Even after conversion those "neo christians" still are treated as lower caste christians for all practical purposes.
In India Hindu bashing has become a favorite pastime for the "secular" media. If a Hindu says Jai Shri Ram - he is immediately branded as being fundamental. However if muslims say "inshallah" at the drop of a hat or if a christian says "jesus christ / for christ's sake" no one even notices.
If a Hindu cant say "Jai Shri Ram" in India, where will he be able to say this - in Mecca or in Vatican????

because communists here are only paper communist if achu really is secular he should arrest clerics and evangelist
Do any politicians have the guts to enter a mosque and check what's really happening or for that matter what exactly being taought in madrasses. By most opinions, thats were most of the terror activities are emanting from. How bombs are to be assembled are taught. Can anybody go and check. Why are they bothered too much about whats happening in temples which are harmless. I agree that everybody should be allowed to enter any temples.

hi friend One thing you should keep in your mind. we(muslims) are using our worship place only for prayer. We dont allow women to enter into the worship place, we dont allow to take video or photograph inside the worship place. We dont let to take cinema shooting in our worship place. We are respecting our god. You cannot find any preciuous, coststly material inside the worship place. It is the place only meant for prayer prayer prayer. Inside the worship place we are not allowed to talk any public or general talkings. We can pray or read the holy book. But you people allowing to do everything in your temple like I said above. You are keeping your worship place like entertainment place. All cinema shootings are conducted there. So no one is willing or ready to enter into the masjid. If anybody is really willing to enter into the masjid they can come and visit.
I do not not think that there is anything wrong in the Temple act. It would had been more appreciated if anybody having spiritual quest independent of his religion was allowed to enter and pay homage if he likes. Not all who goes to Ajmer Sharif or Vatican are Moslems or Christians. In fact by allowing visitors one can influence them if at all there is any real spiritual thing is there. The problem here is the priest and management is not properly educated in the History and Scriptures of Hindu Religion and Indian Culture. However they think they are the custodians.The statement"All he has to do is go to the Arya Samaj, tell them he is a devotee, that he believes in idol worship, get a certificate...then he can enter the temple any time he wishes" justifies my point. Hindu religion allows one to realise the union through YOGA with the universe and its creator. It can be by any means -by idolatry or non idolatry . You can choose to be a shaivite, vaishnavite, tantric..or any other means. Even Sankara tried Nirishwarbad. Only Hinduism allows such experiments in realisation of the unversal SELF.Illiterate purohits and Panda's and managers are distorting and harming the religion. However I disagree with th view that we need to make this changes in law to be modern.What I stressed is enshrned in the SANATAN -traditional Hindu religion. Modernize? Did the Purohit check whether the hindu devotees visiting are obeying traditinal caste system in choosing their profession today ?
