well, emission control would have prolonged the melting, but there is no way of getting rid of it..This is inevitable and the large contributer to the woe is USA or collectively west..
sir, instead of pointing finger at West, Our indian govt should take some steps to contain this monster. Recently they brought out TRIBAL bill, this one thing is sufficient to destry our preciuos forest which are sinking corbon emited. We should grow more trees/forest. this is the only possible solution in short term.

Use water/electricity judiciasly. Use Public transport Don't use plastic Items at all.
Some facts:- Each litr of petrol burnt emits 2.3 kg's of CO2. Each litr of Diese burnt emits 2.7 kg's of CO2. Each MW of power generation release 600 kgs of CO2.
So we common people should use natural resourses judiciasly, there by contributing to contain GLOBAL WARMING.

Your equations are against the laws of conservation. 1 Litre is slightly less than a kilo gram. How come a litre of petrol produce that much CO2??

Petrol has Carbon and Hydrogen where as CO2 is made from Carbon from petrol and oxygen from Air. They will add up to a figure more than Petrol weight.

COmbustion consumes oxygen from atmosphere. Hence 1 ltr of petrol can generate more than 2 kgs of CO2. Thus its not against law of conservation.
