Don;t write anti-Christian messages
by Dheeraj Akula on Jun 06, 2007 04:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Please don't write anti-Christian messages.

Rediff's anti-Hindu moderator is back to work.

He has permanently removed my totally non-abusive message, where I merely explained how Christians are propagating Christianity near Hindu temples.

So, please do not write anything that hurts Christian sentiments.

You are encouraged to write everything that hurts Hindu sentiments. We are a secular democracy.

That is the best compliment from rediff moderators and those who marked your post as abuse. They have no logical facts/arguments to refute your points. This is the biggest victoiry in any debate for anyone.

Early in the morning the ATHAN timing is the same when temples revebrate the bell rings in the morning.

it is only for a few minutes, not for a long time. can you show a single instance it caused nightmare to anyone.

dont be blind and just try to find fault with every system of islam.

People stay near the railway lines are feeling nightmare , airport and some indutries feel nightmare

Yes. I think there is one more religion, which says something similar.

This religion worships someone, who they think "is the only way" and "is the only begotten son of God".

So, we have at leats two religions.

Thanx for your whole-hearted compliment of hinduism."Your hindu brother have the option and freedom to break the tradition or criticise anything illogical in hinduism in public.".

That freedom comes from verse no.63 of Chapter No.18 of Bhagvad Gita in which Lord Krishna says:"Reflect fully on my revealtions and then act as u please". He forbids humanityblindly believe even divine revealations. May be u might want to display this on your site.

This is a really good point. "Act as you please" - I have no words to praise this attitude.

This is the difference between Hinduism and other religions.

Dheeraj, I much appreciate your enthusiasm and I also agree with much of what u say. Only my approach is more nuanced. Only the I passed on amtter from Chapter 16 of Gita titled "Personality development" to a Mmuslim friend of mine. He much appreciated and borrowedmy pocket copy of Gita for reading.

One may criticise the negative points of others'faiths. But more productive is propogating positive things.

Ancestors of Chennas Raman Namboodiripad created such temples so that they could rule. Spit at them and keep them at their place and dont make them sit on ur heads

Chennas Raman Namboodiripad did not sit on anyone's head. Read the interview. He is such a simple man. He merely did a simple temple ceremony, which anyway is done quite frequently due to various reasons.

Temples are not made to rule. Your churches are made to rule. That is why they are evangelising and converting people to Christianity. Hindus and temples do not care to convert others into Hinduism.
