We cannot change the way our elected representatinve perform or behave once they are elected. we cannot change their character. We cannot stop them from indulging in corruption, nepotism, goondaism etc.etc. no matter whm we elect, all will be alike doing the same thing as all other politicians do. But definately we can at least change the persons whom we elect. The minimum we can do is show the door to the MLA's who are there in politics for last 20 to 27 years. And that is only thing we the electorate can do. John

I do not agree with you. If some one is more experienced, then he/she can take better and faster decsions. The problem here is whether experienced or not, most of them are corrupt. By not selecting an experienced person all you are doing is stopping one person from amassing wealth - thus ensuring others also get some opportunity to amass wealth.
The electoral authorities were right in enforcing the rules against the CM and not making any exceptions for him. IT IS HOPED THAT ALL AUTHORITIES WILL FOLLOW THIS EXAMPLE.
plz vote for stability. In small states like goa if elected govt goes in minority, for any reasons, remainig years there should be presidential rule. This is the only way to stop horse-trading and politically unstable situation
History of India proved that Indians understand the language of stick, same britishers did same moghal did. In this dictatorship all castes will be scraped. As well religions. In Indian law and Indian constitution, word caste and religion will be scraped. Religion and caste will be declared as personal matter useful for marriages and other personal things. If a person or group of persons talks anything about caste and religion publicly they will be hang at prominent place of their city. This dictatorship will work for poor and in this process rich will not be made poor but will try to make poor to rich. And this process will not provide any reservation or money offer. The biggest problem of poor people is education and healthcare, to solve this problem dictatorship will open good school and colleges and they will not be 1or 2 but their number will be more 50 or 100 to accommodate each and every person. And will open A class hospitals I seen poor people moving here and there for medication. . And condition of all these hospitals will be maintained, people responsible for maintaining these systems will be punished heavily if they don%u2019t do their work properly. I want like minded people to get this dictatorship. Otherwise this caste base or religion base politics will scrap this country. COME JOIN MY MISSION and SAVE THIS COUNTRY

dictatorships dont work. because power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. what you need is a party in power which is sensitive to public criticism. BJP is the only party which is put under the microscope by the media and also reacts positively to public and media outcry. the rest of the parties are either handled by kid gloves by the media (rahul gandhi being called "king" by IE) or dont care about media becuase they have solid vote-banks.

In UP the exit polls rightly predicted that mayawati will be the uncrowned queen and BJP will get the boot.

We do not need any advice from guys abroad who talk through their hats without knowing ground realities. They do not want any development in Goa and want it to remain undeveloped and rustice so that they can enjoy their holidays once in a year or two in peace and comfort. The people on Goa have to live on sun & sand without any jobs except maybe to serve these foreign Goans as cooks & waiters when they come to Goa for a holiday. If they really care about Goa come join us in the grind and change Goa. or else keep your advice to yourselves
